I train to survive by doing 1000 squats and 1000 shots a day, which gets tough on the body but it's something that keeps me consistent and improves areas of my game, like having to hit the right spot at the right time when I shoot the puck. Or just being able to be strong on my skates and skate up the ice quick an be a better and stronger skater on the ice. I think these two things are what separates me the most and it even helps with my mental aspect of my game as this is tough and cocnsient work that I do every gaemt o get 1% better everyday. even eating right is something that I try to prioritize in my offseason and it could be the extra thing that separates me from my opponent or even my teammates. They see what I am doing and maybe they will try and copycat it and improve and we will get better as a team.
