It's a pretty well known fact that the Kelowna Knights of this generation all have pointed themselves towards Vancouver being the team they want to beat the most. It is unclear as to why Vancouver was picked besides that it's another Canadian team that seemed to have interest in many of the same players that eventually went to Kelowna. Old rivalries are like old wine. Sure they get better the more you let it age but there's always a chance that you open straight vinegar and the whole rivalry was useless in the first place. Who care about old rivalries when you can have new flames ignited.

It seems to be though that in this season, the rivalry between Kelowna and Vancouver is coming to be a little of a non issue as Kelowna and it's rookies are aiming for that higher purpose of winning the cup. They have many good teams to topple on their way to victory but they always take a second to bask in the glory of watching that other team get bashed. May we see them in the playoffs for more epic confrontations.
