1: While it's nice to have delusions of grandeur, especially this time of year, Jefferson knows that on a team as deep as Seattle, he's hardly the guy to be getting the gaming winning goal in such a high pressure situation. That's not to say that he couldn't do it, because he totally could, but what seems way more likely is that Jefferson gets control of the puck after our stellar defensemen have broken up the opposing offense and then powers it through the neutral zone, and makes a sweet pass through the defender's legs over to Stavros who drains it for the game winner. It's not as flashy, and maybe Stavros gets the best look on the play, but Jefferson really just lives for the assists, he can't help it. Christmas is all about giving and there's nothing he loves more than giving his boys big scoring opportunities when it matters the most. Merry Christmas to all Argos (and the rest of SHL).
