Are there any other winter sports your player is or would have been interested if they didn’t start playing hockey? Something they watched or trained as kid? What sport you think your player would be best at and would they even have potential to be professional at that? Or maybe it is something they like to spend their time even as pro hockey player? How would your player do in general on the alternative timeline where they picked another winter sport over hockey? McLovin is what we call a renaissance man. There is no sport that he can't master, woman he can't woo, individual he can't sway, animal he can't tame, and food he can't eat. That said, McLovin has a secret passion that will come to fruition after retirement to play the greatest winter sport known to man. No, not ice hockey, but curling. No other sport is as beloved in the McLovin household and has long since held a secret place in his heart. The sound of the sweeping, they yelling of the curler, the cold beer waiting for him on the table after a round. What more could a man want? Peak physical form? Not necessary. Ability to glide a rock with precision with the softest of touches? Absolutely. Like a wizard performing a spell, McLovin can scoot that stone around any opponents rock right into center court for a point. Olympics? Not even a question, just a matter of how many. Even the trophy case in his house was built with room for curling accolades. ![]() |
