The revolution was swift and delicious. We marched out of the freezer, the King igniting every broiler in sight. The suits tried to intervene with their quarterly reports, but were powerless against the smell of properly flame-grilled beef. Their spreadsheets wilted in the face of actual food quality. Today, our local Burger King stands proud again. The King has reinstated the proper way of burger-making, though he did compromise on one point - he now wears a fire-retardant crown (OSHA approved). The employees' eyes sparkle with purpose, the lettuce is crisp, and the burgers taste like victory. And if you listen carefully during the dinner rush, you can still hear him decree: "Have it your way... but make sure it's flame-grilled." ![]() |
