Oliver Cornwall is a huge snowboarder. While he got a little in during family trips to Scotland as a lad, since playing in Vancouver in the J, he picked up the sport in earnest at the Whistler mountains. However, it was always purely recreational for Oliver so he absolutely did not train at it when he was a wee lad. However, Oliver is a pretty excellent athlete in general, so he picked it up very fast and is an excellent sight when he’s riding powder. He’s absolutely gotten to the point where he can get onto the British Olympic team and be a reasonable contender for the medal race. If he ever decided to try to be a pro, he’d be able to fully devote the time necessary to be truly exceptional. However, snowboarders don’t make nearly the money that hockey players do, so sheer capitalist demands make him choose to play hockey for a living! |
