Thankfully Sonja did have the opportunity to play ice hockey outdoors as Fredrikstad -The city where Sonja was born and lived most of her life- has an outdoor stadium. Which stadium is precisely the place where Sonja got her chance as a youngster to play in a local youth cup back in the day. She has fond memories of it too so she is looking forward to the next chance she will get in one of those outdoor stadiums very soon. Of course it might look like a gimmick and might be another way to earn some extra cash but at the same time it's a nice change from the usual indoor stadiums. Outdoor stadiums can at least have some change in the scenery which of course is like the 10th most important thing in a hockey game but at least it's something. As for where the event will hold palce, well that's not exactly something Sonja is too worked up about. As long as she gets to play and somewhat relive her previous experience in an outdoor stadium than she is more than happy. After all she just wants to play for the love of the game.
