But my player will educate them on the game and ensure they depict the game of hockey accurately. Beyond that, it is up to the writers and directors to make the movie worth watching. Wood is not a movie script writer, producer, or a director. He will stick to his role, get paid, and get back on the ice for the Philadelphia Forge. If the movie flops, which it surely will, Leonard can at least say the hockey parts looked okay. At the end of the day, he will just be credited as a mere technical advisor, almost like a coordinator or such. This will put the blame solely on the writers and director when the movie bombs at the box office.
