I think it you make media of any sort (full length or short films, other forms of visual art, etc) you're kind of locked in to making it unnecessarily more dramatic -- take medical dramas, for example. I think Violet would play the classic villain archetype in sports films (maybe without the part where those types beat up little kids or whatever they do): she would be some star player on an evil dynasty team that probably plays dirtier than they're allowed to, whom the refs don't whistle because they're too subtle or whatever. She would really embrace the role of being a 'bully' unnecessarily on and off the ice in an attempt to make the protagonist even more likeable for playing their cleaner, scrappy style as the perpetual underdog at multiple levels (regular season into the championship). Her character would definitely go from being a dominant force to either 1) getting suspended for something crazy or 2) being handily defeated by the hero's team in semi-realistic hockey style, with lots of slow mo shots to draw out the tension for critical parts of games.
