This is the perfect scenario for a high profile player in LA. Rather than a hockey movie, I imagine a movie that has hockey in it, but isn't about hockey. Maybe the main character happens to be an aspiring or current professional hockey player, but is more of a personal story. Or the star is just a big fan of the LA Panthers and somehow ends up meeting the team at the perfect moment for them to impart some wisdom or offer some perspective.

Like a lot of athletes, Prpich would be a pretty bad actor. He would come off as stiff and inauthentic even when playing himself. I think he'd be extremely nervous and want to do well with any speaking part he might have, so he would overthink it and overprepare. Ultimately, he'd spend the vast majority of his screen time on the ice, the appear briefly to deliver a standard expository line to the movie lead, or maybe a tongue in cheek reference to something hockey related like game 7, a fight, or getting drafted.
