Baku has donated many dollars to supporting local black-own businesses and nonprofits in and around the Baltimore area. Bigger yet, he is the face of growing youth hockey in Nigeria (and across Africa, though that's a BIG project beyond even his mighty shoulders). Hockey is an expensive sport, and he's doing what he can to try to build up capacity in major cities for the sport.
