The highlight reel play started off par for the course for Journey Man. With his team on their heels in the defensive zone, Journey kept the front of the net clear and did his best to disrupt passing lanes. As the puck moved out to the point, Journey got low to block it. The puck took a good bounce, and Journey had a clear lane for a break away. But after a few strides, the blade on one of his skates fell off! With just enough speed left to enter the offensive zone, Journey leapt off his good blade, put all his weight into a slap shot, and managed to go bar down and score! There's some arguments online over whether the goal should be considered one-legged or no-legged. Either way, the goal completely represented Man's play style. Defense first, self sacrifice, hard work, and full dedication. And occasionally some good accuracy.
