One of the most impressive jumps up the standings this season has been the Manhattan Rage, rising from a dismal 16th place finish in S79 on a 53 point season to a 7th place tie this season with 80 points. Making it more impressive is the fact that they play in the league's most competitive division in the Atlantic. To those who've watched the Rage for a while though, this jump is no surprise, even if they slightly outperformed their TPE, where they rank 12th in the league. Manhattan has been in a rebuild seemingly since their back to back cup final appearances in S87/68, and they haven't seen the second round of the playoffs since. With a new core of players led by the likes of Jaromir Jagrbomb, Betzee Nickelback and Celeste Desjardins finally reaching their prime, the Rage are primed to enter a competitive window for the first time in over a sim decade. They still have some notable gaps, and should be looking to aggressively add top players this offseason to finally push deep into the playoffs.
