Ooh what a good prompt. I would want to cast a wide net and pull players from many different areas. Team staff would be really important, and probably the highest skill level possible. Id want to be sure I got as many defenders from the staff, plus a solid center. With Dunkler already on defense, a few more solid defenders to spread amongst the lineup would help stabilize things. Plus you are going to need to win some faceoffs if possible.
Next is the beer leagues. A solid beer league goalie is probably most important here, as they just need to survive. We’ve all seen EBUG’s do plenty against SHL talent, so this doesn’t seem like a stretch. Then we just need bodies to fill things out. Id rather go for beer leaguers that have good conditioning than actual skill. We just need to be able to hustle and stay with the other team’s forwards. Not looking to score any more goals.
Can I find a high schooler? Or someone who rollerblades the boardwalk everyday? I think we can do this.
