I think that seeing Toronto make the conference finals really confused and interested a lot of people. Toronto was 7th in the league last season and was headed towards being one of the top teams in the league after constant rebuilds and failed pushes for a long time. Then when they were hit with the cap overage penalty they took a nose-dive this season to 14th. I think a lot of people would have expected Toronto to be deflated after this and consider it just another one of those failed pushes. As someone that played in Toronto for a season I can tell you that while times have been tough for the North Stars, that team is resilient as ever and always working towards that Challenge Cup. I don't know how this playoff push will end for them, but I know that Toronto will be back next season and win or lose they will be tough to break.
