GREETINGS LEAGUE,

In running a mid-playoffs audit, Head Office discovered several line infractions. Each of these teams played an inactive player with higher minutes or on a higher line for special teams during playoffs. Head Office voted in all of these cases with the penalty outlined in the rulebook (10.f.i.3.) "Any playoff games: Full GM pay fine and loss of Offseason (CW) Pass for the season.". Therefore, the following teams will lose their 8M pay and their off-season pass for the S81 season.

Additionally 10.l.i(.1) states "Probation will be applied when any of the following occur: A GM/Co-GM loses their entire GM pay for a season for any reason(s).". Which would also have resulted in a 3 seasons additional loss of the offseason pass for these GMs.

In discussion about these offenses, many violations occurred as players became inactive at the end of the season. Head Office felt that it is not in the best interests of GMs to be placed on such a severe automatic probation for nearly 6 months. Therefore, Head Office voted to change the application of probation and the definition of what probation entails to:

"Head Office reserves the right to apply probation with any rulebook violations."

And under defining probation:

"Probation allows Head Office to increase penalties for future rulebook violations. This includes repeated or especially egregious violations of the rulebook. Penalties may include doubling penalties, revoking offseason passes for future seasons, and firings."

These changes will be reflected in the rulebook.

The GMs are eligible to appeal this decision to @DrunkenTeddy or any other member of the appeals team.
