1. Fan Appreciation Day
I came up with the idea of handing out a handmade logo in the shape of our Malamutes' paw. It can be both decorative and useful as well. Such a hand-sized paw in the colors of the Yukon Malamutes can be used as a backpack patch, a coaster for a cup or phone, a wall decoration, even if it has an infamous stain on it, or even as a characteristic keychain or bag pin. These decorations will be given out before the start of the first S82 match to the fans at Takhini Arena because despite the unsuccessful previous season, we appreciate their contribution to supporting our team and so that they always have something to be proud of as residents of Whitehorse and the entire Yukon. These gifts will be handed out not only to those who will buy tickets for the game, but also to those who will take advantage of the pre-match offer at the stadium. (Words: 159/+3 TPE) 2. Looking Towards the Future The needs are the same as last season - strengthen the defense. At the moment we have the second or third worst defense in the league, we have conceded the most goals in the league, so this is undoubtedly our biggest pain. In attack it doesn't t look too bad, because we were often able to take the initiative in matches, even with stronger rivals, but sometimes we lacked of effectiveness. We lost a good class 79, but offensive power still seems to be our strong point. Just like last season we have to count on drafted players, because we lack offensive players to fill at least three formations, but now the team seems to be more balanced. From the previous draft two defenders and a goalkeeper stayed with ust, so this should bring a bit more calm at the back. Especially since in this part of the team it seems almost complete. R&R Being eliminated in the first round gave us plenty of time, so I primarily used this period to improve my skills to be prepared for the World Championships and for the start of the next club season. I'm determined to reach the 350 TPE limit before the first week of S82 starts. On more cosmic things, on March 29th I watched a solar eclipse, probably the first one I've seen in my adult life, and I was able to take a picture with my phone, photographing the eclipse by filtering image with an X-ray photo. The view was beautiful, although it was only 6 percent of the eclipse. And on a much more earthly note, I'm spending time with my dog and girlfriend, who are the most important people in my life, and I'm also playing the best immersive sim and probably my most loveable action game, Deus Ex, for the second time in my life. Living in Poland, a European country, it is absurd to me that healthy dogs and cats are put down due to lack of space in shelters. Therefore, in order to help shelters, I have launched a charity to protect all animals from being euthanized for this reason, increasing the database of homes willing to temporarily adopt, and also making donations to a foundation that helps animals, so that never again will an animal have to lose its life due to trivial, economic reasons. We owe it to dogs, who for generations have given themselves into the hands of human, so that he can create breeds suitable for every home, so that some unfortunates pets, due to ignorance and lack of conscience, do not control the growth of dogs, who are completely subject to people. Their misfortune is the result only of our actions and helping them is our necessity. (Words: 161/+3 TPE) 16. Goals I'd like to win title, whatever it could be. I'm aware, that I can win completely nothing here, because that's the way sports works. If it is what waits for me, I'm good, unless I'll have good time in here, I feel needed and drive my career to the very end with feeling I'm done what I wanted. (Words: 58/+1 TPE) 18. Milestones Defenseman Penalty Minutes (PIM): 26 or fewer - 8 minutes Hits: 66 or more - 110 hits Take Aways (TkA): 43 or more - 70 takeaways https://simulationhockey.com/showthread....pid3654113 (+3 TPE) |
