Played big minutes, but not always on big lines. 40 goals, 82 points last season. Louchard is always there, not very well-known, but a pleasure to get to know. Captain of Maine for his last season.
![]() ![]() On ice Rawbie had possibly one of thee most underrated rookie defence campaigns of all time. You won't see his name on any offensive leaderboards but his you will see him on quite close on a few defensive ones. Easily his largest contribution to the team was putting up 239 blocks this rookie season placing him amongst the best in the league. Rawbie has been the perfect knight from day 1. From making sure our box scores are posted instantaneously most days, to vibing in with everyone in the LR be it in music league, cars, or book club. Not only is he awesome to chill with he has progressed into taking a larger leadership role both hyping before games and now helping with FO. Rawbie is one of those rare SHL users who everyone loves immediately and makes everyone around him a better person. I hope everyone gets a chance to share a lockerroom with him at some point
![]() ![]() On the ice, hidden behind the team’s top performers of Koala and Chaewon, a little Hetaksh existed. Hetaksh has a booming season with 71 points that consists of 30 goals and 41 assists. Hetaksh was quick to become the glue guy for the first line.
Heta has become one of the loudest and strongest voices in the Carolina LR. From his energy to the passion in the league, he is the perfect first gen in one person. Heta has a love for scouting, helping newbies and overall being a professional yapper. Heta is not someone who is currently seen by the entire league, but someone who deserves recognition purely based on their passion and what they will eventually bring to the table (which will be exciting and terrifying to see)
![]() ![]() On the ice John Gibson has been a menace of a goalie who took the underdog of Detroit into the second round of the playoffs. He is going to go far and in my opinion goalie is the most important role in hockey hands down. As a center in the SHL I am going to fear the day I need to skate vs. him. While on the Detroit team I think we are unstoppable! John Gibson has stepped up in Detroit locker room taking on a management role and helping us scout. John has taken an interest in keeping our locker room active and working to make it the best it can be given our current status in the league. It goes without saying but there is a lot going on to help run a team. We are thankful to have John in this role helping out and to see what the future holds for him in Detroit.
![]() ![]() Sanders was in a lower role on the team, as a 2nd line winger with no PP1 time, but he still had the strongest statistical season of any of our many rookies. He was the only rookie on the team who had a positive relative corsi%, and was the driving force of that 2nd line. 3rd on the team in hits, and 3rd on the team in goals, with almost all of his production coming at even strength (47 out of 50 points were even strength) I'm really excited to see how Harland Sanders develops as we move forward here. this is the fun part yippee. We were thrilled when Saunders dropped to us at 24oa during his draft, and he has wasted no time proving that we were right to be excited about him. Saunders has absolutely blown me away with his impact on the team's locker room, and is becoming a growing part of the war room as well. He started a question of the day thing in the LR which has been a lot of fun for all parties involved. He's begun scouting for us which is huge, he's been taking on a leadership role in the locker room, and has been absolutely one of the brightest spots of what was a trying season on the ice. In Saunders we trust
Patrick came to the Armada as a 3rd round pick and immediately made an impact. He was one of the highest scoring rookies in his draft class and is someone the Armada lean on in every situation. Patrick quickly became one of the driving forces in the locker room, often updating the team on scores and starting conversations and leading the team in general. Patrick became such a pivotal part of the locker room he quickly was invited into the war room as one of our most trusted users (20 - 2/3/1) CAR - Hetaksh
