Thurston Bull is hit with a radioactive hockey puck right between the eyes. After a quick moment flat on the ice, Bull comes to and sits up quickly. His teammates and medical officials urging him to stay down because of potential neck injuries but he stands like nothing ever happened. He looks at his hands, almost feeling a power surge through his hockey mitts. He looks down at his skates and they feel ice cold, his blades almost glowing. He looks up and gives himself some space as he jumps up high and up above the rafters! Above the retired jersey and up through the stadium ceiling!!! 

The Bull makes his way through Texas, skating through the sky, ice under his blades no matter where he goes. He searches for hot streets with bored kids. Upon finding one he skates down toward the street and with a snow shower stop, the street cools down and suddenly becomes a street of ice, complete with red and blue hockey paint and two hockey nets. The kids roar with cheer as they fetch their hockey equipment and get ready to play hockey with their hometown hero, The Bull!
