I would say that heroes need many assets to bring to the table. You have to be a top player for your team. But you also need to be a clutch player so that means being there in important matches and not just casual matches. Then you also have to be a player with empathy to understand your Coaches, General Managers, Teammates, Staff and so on. Also very important is Leadership in my opinion. Players do not be a captain or alternate captain, they still should be valuable assets in a Role of Leadership. For me a hero also helps the humans in need. So Charity is also a very strong part of being a hero. Going to hospitals, schools and many other facilities to meet fans but also non fans with serious pain, illness or injury is so important to be called a hero in the world. So heroes can't be selfish or without empathy.
