Written option 1: I feel like a hockey themed superhero would have a hard time standing out aside from their little gimmick, as long as they were a forward or defenseman, that is. A goalie on the other hand would be an interesting take, they even have the mask to protect their secret identity. As for what power they could have, the power to stop any projectile completely comes to mind, no caveats, just brings the projectile to a complete stop with no harm to themselves. Bullets? No problem. Energy blasts or lasers? Easy peezy. Goku's spirit bomb? Hey it is a projectile, and that counts. No projectile can get past "The Goalie". Funnily enough, having a goalie superhero kind of works with how we "rate" goalies to begin with, their save percentage, except instead of goals it is people now. The power also fits what a superhero is supposed to be, someone who protects the innocent.
