Being a hero is something that Lyle Odelein IV knows a little about. Not necessarily because anyone considers him a hero, it is due to him growing up around his father, Lyle Odelein III while living in New Orleans. The elder Odelein helped the Specters win their one and only Challenge Cup and went on to captain the Specters for several seasons. He was a hero to many in New Orleans and still is today. The younger Lyle is doing everything he can to help provide the same impact on and off the ice as his father but he is not his only role model. The previous NOLA Caspian, Luca Pane has the same qualities as the former captain as does Scar Bradley, the recently named Specters captain. Both of these players embody everything that makes a hero, a hero. With teammates and mentors like these, maybe Lyle Odelein IV will get to the hero level one day, but only time will tell.
