Jamie Fraser has a long history of going well above and beyond for his people as a hero and a leader. While he probably would not compare any of his on ice or modern day leadership to his past where he was conducting rescue missions and defending his homeland and family from the British, Jamie has always been classified as a high character man and while that mostly would apply to his somehow indefinite quest to track down what happened to his wife Claire, he is also known for stepping up in defense of his teammates and staff in much the same way he did in his past life. He would not care to have the hero definition thrown on him, he is full of himself but not in the way that he needs recognition, because it is more or less what he considers the right way to go about his business.
