James Howlett as a superhero? Preposterous! If I were to entertain this wild notion, he would be some sort of rabid animal, like a... ferret, let's say that. Superpowers? The ability to take as many hits as he does in game and keep moving, like regeneration, and hockey stick blades coming from between his fingers. Of course he'd have to lace them with metal, since just having wood coming from your knuckles would work but he needs to actually slice, not just get a slicing penalty. All backed up by a terrible attitude. His main supervillain rival is a fellow hockey player with extremely similar powers, let's call him the weasel. He and James have a rivalry going way back, back to when James was young. He embraces his role as a heel, and doesn't entertain the press at all. Maybe the most hated player in the league, only kept around because of his skill and superpowers.  He actively comes around James' place every year on his birthday just to mess with him. This is all a ridiculous thought experiment though. Leave the superheroics to a guy named Logan or something.
