Just out of patriotism this team needs to be lead by a German duo and Joe McKeil and Christoph Klose make for a terrific two thirds of a top-line. Both are highly dynamic offensive players who are responsible in their own end as well and would still desever their place on the top-line even if they weren't my fellow countrymen. They get complemented by one of the best Scorers this league has ever seen, Roberto Martucci, who might have dropped a bit in activity lately, but is still a deadly Sniper.
The second line is headlined by probably the best player on the entire team, if I leave aside my Germany-bias: Brodie Witzel, who narrowly missed out on the cup with the Chiefs in S6 and became the SHL-version of Marian Hossa when he left the Chiefs because he saw a better chance to win the Cup in Hamilton, just to lose to his old team in the Conference-finals the year after and having to see them move on, win the finals and celebrate their first cup in Franchise history. He has a big chance to make the Hossa-comparison complete this seasons, then Hossa finally managed to win the Cup the year after, something Witzel can do now as well. The very underrated Kain Webb and veteran Raymond Lindsay will be playing on his Wings.
The third line is basically a veteran-line with Center and S5-Draftee Cam Wilson being the youngest of the pack, while Trevor Smith and Audun Wissing bring lots of experience to the table.
The fourth line will be relied on to grind it out for this team if necessary, but they still possess a lot of scoring ability. Former Dar-trophy nominee Saku Perhonen leads this unit and greyback Ron Bolt will try to do his best Mark Recchi-impression to help this team to another Cup, But as this whole team is full of Veterans it was time to infuse some youth into this forward group as well and this will be the job of Rehn Miller, who'll get his chance to become a hero in his first ever SHL-Playoffs as a Rookie.

On D this team relies heavily on their great first pairing of the two Franchise-D Matthew Ekblad and Erik Chisling, who are among the leagues very best. This isn't a one-line team on Defense though as their second pairing of Daniel Carlsson and Vladislav Smirnov possesses great quality as well and can be counted on at both ends of the ice. The third pairing again brings some youth, with second year Pro Drizzy Drake guiding bluechip-prospect and Rookie Roman Schultz.
In goal, legend Ryan Jesster narrowly beats out Sven Andersson by, not considering any Stats, recent performances or TPE, just being a legend.
