Parker Smeb
Parker Smeb with a good performance in tonight's game, I really think he should have been first star of the game. I believe this would have been the first game this season where the young star has been the first star of the game. Parker had 2 goals in only 14 minutes of ice time playing on the third line. Parker keeps putting up these performances with such limited ice-time, I'm very surprised he hasn't been bumped up to the top 6 yet. Either way I think he has a strong case for rookie of the year with so many points in such little ice-time.

Colorado goes into the playoffs on a high.
One of the last games of the season for Colorado before they head into the wild card matchup vs the Lethbridge Lions. They put together a strong performance over a contending team in the Kelowna Knights. Although the team has struggled the second half of the season, mostly due to an awful power play, this win should give them some confidence against the Lions. All three lines are doing well lately, with Daniel Smeb also producing well on the 4th line. I expect these 4 lines to just steam roll the Lethbridge Lions in the first round of the playoffs. I predict the series to be four games to zero, a quick sweep.

Shots Galore
Colorado put up a ton of shots in this game, crazy how they only had 3 total in the first, because after that they put up 9 in the 2nd and an amazing 16 in the 3rd, good for 28 total. They also has 13 that Kelowna blocked, giving them a total of 41 shots towards the net. Kelowna also had a good game in the shots department, putting up a total of 26, although they didn't put up nearly as many shot towards the net. Ushakov had a very strong game stopping all but 2, giving him a .923 save percentage. It's a surprise not to see him named a three star of the game.
