I definitely do not have the money to get started in on the casino in this league, so I've honestly not even really paid attention to the types of bets offered. In other leagues I was usually just a fan of o/u win totals for teams throughout the season.

I haven’t been to the SHL casino as I’m poor over here I feel like encouraging rookie to make bets maybe even a free bet would be a good idea and maybe some fun SMJHL bets

I am strictly anti-gambling, so I have really nothing to add to the Casino. Should it be removed? I don't know. As long as it's just for funnsies and you only bet SHL money, it's probably fine.
Could still be a slippery slope for addicts though

The casino should hold weekly bets on the SHL's biggest rivalry - Teemu Salami vs Literally Wizard (@baz). Granted, Wizard would likely win most bets, it would still be a good addition to the casino given these are the two biggest hunks stars in the SHL.

Honestly I am probably the worst person to ask this, as I have so far never even looked at the casino options as I am just not interested at gambling with my limited SHL money (i’d rather gamble it away in the cards shop)

You should be able to bet on individual players, say plus or minus on goals or points for a forward, or hits/blocks for defensemen. I think that would be fun

you should be able to bet on whether or not someone is going to do all of their chirps in a week. like you get a huge payout if you put 200k on a super consistent user only hitting 5 chirps or something. or vice versa if some person who never posts slams down 6 chirps in a week then you're in the money baby

It's time to go full degenerate and bring in player props. Let people make daily parlay tickets and let's just run a full-on sports book. Let's see just how low we can go here. Will probably clean out everyone's bank accounts and make people write more media for cash.

I haven't really touched the casino yet, so I am not really sure what is available to bet on already. I think being able to do different parlays and stuff would be cool if that isn't already possible, but I can see where that might be hard to setup.

I think that the casino could do lines similar to those of the primetime and hattrick point tasks. It would be most fun, especially if the games in question were simmed live.

I wouldn’t want to add too much to the Casino, but maybe do something weekly that is tied to the Primetime and Hat Trick options. If a user wants to double down on some of their selections in there, or hedge their bets so at least they’ll either win TPE or Money. That way there isn’t too much extra work in gathering the stats for these additional bets, and they’re already in the view of the whole league (or at least those who do their PTs ?).

I think more player specific bets would be a good way to grow interest in the casino. Weekly bets on "player scores X goals, over/under" and such.

Definitely do not remove the casino; it's a far less egregious simulator for online gambling than fantasy TPE. Adding non-sim bets could be funny. Imagine betting fake hockeybux that player X doesn't extend with his team. The tampering allegations that would result from such a system alone would be worth the price of admission.

Maybe being able to set bets on single games (or parlays in the games in one sim). That could make people more invested (literally) in the sims? Although a part of me says that it would be a gateway drug to sports gambling, which while a proven form of entertainment, also has its dangers.
