+ respect for Mclaren taking on SCOTT, and GETTING THE EDGE like a badass mofo.

Kessel's a G, JVR's a stud, Dion's a boss, and Mcclemment's a monster. Overall solid game, Scriv played well tonight, too.

i didnt see the Leafs game tonight, but Scrivens seems like he will at least be a very solid NHL backup.

Yeah he was good. Made a couple amazing saves right off the bat but other than that there weren't any point blank shots. The D did a good job of keeping BUF to the outside, Scriv still played great, though.

yea from what ive seen of him he doesnt really give up many bad goals.
which is what you want from a backup.

idk if he will be good enough to consistently make game changing saves, but i wouldnt write him off as a potential starter
if not for the leafs, then someone else

Havent you notice how Kessel makes everyone around him look like a superstar first was Lupul and now JVR. Kessel is a nasty playmaker. I personally wouldnt give a shit if he didnt score for the rest of the season as long he keeps creating sex plays and getting assists. Add in he back checks now and plays decent defense he is the total package.
