We aren't ready to give up, but they've grown so much it's hard not to think they're admirable!

The semi finals have truly been an intense and dramatic journey, but the big story so far is Carolina Kraken, who have completely demolished the St. Louis Scarecrows in the first two games. On the other side, we have a more evenly matched and chaotic story between Kelowna Knights and Vancouver Whalers – a series that still feels open.
Carolina Kraken vs. St. Louis Scarecrows – 2-0 This is almost hard to believe. St. Louis has been completely overwhelmed by Carolina. Game 1: First Period: Carolina immediately set the tone and led 5-0 after the first period. St. Louis had no answer to Carolina’s intensity, and it looked like they were completely outmatched. Second Period: The Kraken continued to dominate, but St. Louis did manage a consolation goal, making it 5-1 at the end of the second period. Third Period: St. Louis tried, but Carolina was simply too strong. They scored one more goal to finish the game with a commanding 6-1 victory. It was a complete domination of St. Louis. Game 2: First Period: Once again, Carolina took the lead early, making it 1-0, but St. Louis responded with a shorthanded goal to tie it up. After that, Carolina took over and led 2-1 by the end of the first period. Second Period: The Kraken extended their lead by scoring three more goals, putting them up 5-1 and firmly in control of the game. St. Louis had little to offer in response. Third Period: Carolina completely crushed St. Louis in the third period. They extended their lead to 11-1 and finished the game with an overwhelming display. St. Louis was helpless in this one, and Carolina looked almost unbeatable. Carolina has shown they are a team on a mission, and St. Louis now needs a miracle just to force a Game 3. At this rate, the Kraken seem unstoppable. Kelowna Knights vs. Vancouver Whalers – 2-0 This is a completely different story. Kelowna leads 2-0, but it’s been two games where Vancouver has been in it the whole time. Game 1: First Period: Kelowna started strong, leading 3-1 after the first period. Vancouver quickly fought back but couldn’t quite keep up with Kelowna’s offensive power. Second Period: Vancouver fought their way back and took the lead at 4-3 by the end of the second period. It was a real nail-biter, and we knew the game was far from over. Third Period: Kelowna didn’t give up and managed to tie the game at 4-4 to send it to overtime. In the overtime period, Kelowna kept their cool and scored the game-winning goal, taking the victory 5-4. It was a thrilling and dramatic game. Game 2: First Period: Kelowna came out strong and had a 4-0 lead halfway through the first period. Vancouver was completely paralyzed at the start of the game, but they managed to get back into it and tied it up at 4-4 by the end of the period. Second Period: Kelowna then took control, scoring 5-4, 6-4, and 7-4 before Vancouver responded with a goal of their own, making it 7-5. Vancouver fought hard, but Kelowna was just too strong and took charge of the game. ![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() Registered Senior Member
