Colton Paraygeko had a successful season. He contributed to a team that finished 2nd overall in the standings and just fell short in the playoffs. He may not have finished on any of the index leaderboards, but her certainly didn’t finish last in any of the categories either. He played a well rounded game, which is what I envisioned when created this player. I envisioned solid two-way forward that could contribute on both sides of the ice and be a team player. A team player he was as he filled in as an old-school defensemen archetype based on the teams needs and adapted well to the role. As far as improvements, there will always be room for improvement, but as a defensemen, I am planning to concentrate more on the defensive aspects of my game and being more aggressive when it comes to blocking shots and playing body. Even though it wasn’t technically during the season, I’ll never forget the dumb penalty I took in game 5 of the Prospect tournament’s final round in the 3rd period when the game was all tied up. We ended up losing and it taught me a lot of lessons.

My rookie season was alright. I played decent. 0.5 PPG. It was a pretty good season. Now I need to be better in positioning. I’ve gotta be stronger on my stick. I have to think the game a bit quicker. I also need to work on driving the puck and entry zone looks.
I think as a team we need to work on our defense a little bit. We have had some rough territory when you get into it playoffs. You have to keep yourself in the right train of thought otherwise you just lose outright. Unfortunately for me being very nervous in my first run. We didn’t have what it takes to make it all the way through playoffs this time around. I figure if it is something that we need to be ready for. We need to be able to focus in on the task keep pucks outside. t

Looking back on my first season, I'm filled with a mix of excitement and reflection. The league's community was incredibly welcoming and supportive, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The weekly posts and TPE point system were a clever way to keep everyone engaged and invested in the league's happenings.
While my player's offensive contributions were promising, especially considering our team's rebuilding phase, the defensive side of the puck left much to be desired. The glaring plus-minus statistic highlighted a tendency to prioritize big hits over sound defensive positioning. This aggressive style, while sometimes effective, often led to costly mistakes. Moving forward, I'm committed to refining my player's defensive game. By focusing on better decision-making, improved positioning, and a more disciplined approach, I hope to strike a balance between offensive flair and defensive responsibility. The goal is to become a more well-rounded player who can contribute positively in all aspects of the game.

As my first SMJHL season winds to an end, I feel like reminiscing on some of the firsts and great experiences I had while playing for the Yukon Malamutes. It was overall a successful season for myself and my team, making it to game 7 of the second round of the playoffs.
My first career goal is something I’ll never forget. It took me a few games of adjustment to get in the mix, but I managed to sneak one past the goalie in the 3rd game of the season, from there I never looked back. I came streaking down the wing and snapped one far post and in, something I was know. For in my minor career. Another fond memory is how amazing my team mates, coaches and management treated me. Being young, away from home, in the Yukon of all places was incredibly scary. The team welcomed me, made me feel safe, loved and cared for. I can’t explain how lucky I am to be a part of this team. I can’t wait for next year, I’m already training hard and looking to come in better than ever.

I'd say Jean Bon first ever season was a success. He managed to play good defense, which was essentially why St-Louis drafted him 4th overall. In 66 regular season games, he managed to: Block 121 shots, have 95 hits and even got 35 points. A great offensive and defensive production by this rookie defenseman. He even made some friends in the LR, such as @TheGreatToeJam, which became his mentor. He seems to show great signs of development and everyone in Saint-Louis seems to like him !
In the playoffs, he scored his team first goal ! Truly a great achievement by Jean. He also got promoted to the 1st defense pairing alongside Ozzy Bradford just before the 1st game vs the Carolina Kraken in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Im very exited to see what this player is gonna look like in a few years, but his future is looking brighter than ever as of right now.

As Boogan McGillicuddy’s first professional season draws to a close he looks back on it to reflect. Getting drafted to St. Louis was an incredible feeling, as a St. Louis native, and he had high expectations for himself. Boogan’s expectations were exceeded. Combining 26 goals and 48 assists for 74 points is not something he thought would happen in his rookie campaign. Careful not to get too high on his horse, Boogan’s focus is shifting to the defensive side of the game this off season. Despite having offensive success Boogan would find himself on the ice for too many goals against. Boogan will walk away from this season with a thirst to be better. Having success in the first round of the playoffs but falling short in the second is what he needed to drive himself to be better. Boogan’s best moment on the ice this season came in game one of the first round of the playoffs where he contributed 2 goals and 5 assists in a comeback victory against the Ottawa Highlanders at home. Boogan hopes to have more moments like this in the future, but more than anything hopes to win some championships with his teammates.

the enlightened centrist, of the colorado raptors, of the simulation major junior hockey league, had an alright season. had 42 points, 16 goals, 26 assists in 66 regular season games, 18 points, 5 goals, 13 assists in 21 games in the playoffs. by all standards this is a decent season for a rookie. I was deployed mostly as a shadow during my time in the playoffs, and found some success in this playoff matchup shutdown role. We were 3 wins away from the cup, and obviously, we will look to build on it every season from now. my greatest moments would be the many goals i scored alongside my linemates jumbo and jason. i can tell that this will be a line that will shake the league up in the future and i look forward to many very productive seasons along side them, along with many more playoff runs with the team

This was a fantastic season. It was very easy for me to settle into the team because my teammates were very supportive. The season as a whole has met my expectations because I didn't think I would score so many individual points. There were several clear leaders in the team that I kept up with throughout the season. The team coach trusted me, giving me a lot of playing time and I hope I didn't disappoint him. I definitely wanted to achieve something more with the team itself, but I think that will definitely happen in the coming seasons. I am very excited about what is to come in the future and hope that one of the adult teams will notice me and I will be able to join a good and friendly team. I will definitely come back stronger next season and I think that I will try to compete with the best defensive players in the league, taking into account my playing style.

Considering when I got claimed off waivers I don't think there really even were that many expectations on me for the 25 games I played this season. That being said I think I can be proud of how I performed and rose to the challenge. I slotted in immediately on the 2nd defense pair and was playing 22 minutes a night right out the gate. It definitely was a bit of a transition but I'm happy I was able to rank up seven assists. That first career point is a moment I know I'll never forget. With how our season went as a team there wasn't a lot to celebrate, but the locker room was crazy after that one. Also I know it's really not the best stat, but considering our team goal differential was over -200 I'm happy my plus minus was only minus 9. All in all I think my shortened season helped to set a great foundation that I can build on as I grow into a better player.

In my first season, I think my player did quite well. Moving up and down the 2nd and 3rd line while playing every game in the season, my player scored 49 points in 66 games. In my opinion (and without looking at other rookies) I think that is quite good, since all of these points are also even-strength, since I couldn't get a chance to go on the power-play until a short stint in the playoffs (which I assisted on). Talking about playoffs, with the Scarecrows my player managed to get 8 points (4G and 4A) in 10 games, so around the same pace I was on during the regular season. Comparing these results to my expectations from the start of the season I beat them, since I was just aiming at round 0.5PPG during the regular season, and I accomplished and beat that quite well. There wasn't really any "glorious memory" this season for me, but the closest thing that there would be is beating Carolina 9-1 in the playoffs, but then we forget what happened after that game.

I would say that I certainly performed as well as could be expected given the team in front of me. Our team on the ice was pretty garbage, aside from the handful of good players towards the top of the lineup, and our defense was atrocious. However, I still managed to pull off a couple of wins, and had a respectable sv% on a team that had the worst +/- in the league. I think the most helpful way I want to improve is to continue to increase my SV% to continue backstopping our team as much as possible. I think my favorite moment from this season was the second to last day of the regular season, where we strung 3 wins together and the LR went crazy. In all of our shittiness, it was nice to have one day where we felt unstoppable. I am really excited for this years draft, as well as the upcoming season, as I think we are going to really grow as a team, even if we might be taking another step back.

We did it! We finished the first season of what is sure to be many in the storied career of Chungledown Bim.
First and foremost, I want to go e a huge shoutout and thank you to @cake307 and @Jimmysmo27 for adding me to the org, and to STL in general for being a top class team. I try not to put too much stock into a stat line, which is hard when it's literally all we have to go off of to gage our performances, but overall I think it was a relatively successful rookie season for Bim. He's willing to do whatever the team needs him to do and I believe that's exactly what he did. On a personal not, I'm proud of finding the time to still contribute to the league and to my player. Life gets crazy and I have a lot going on, I was super excited to start fresh with a new player but in the back of my mind I was always worried that I wouldn't have the time. I'm happy to see that I was wrong and this ol' dog still has it.

Personally I would say that Tiny Princess had a great first season in the J. As a true defenseman, going for 5 goals (2 of which were short handed) and 35 assists, for a total of 40 points is a pretty good statline for a rookie who just finished up their first season. Not only that but the Raptors were able to make it all the way to the four start cup finals before a heartbreaking loss to the Quebec City Citadelles. I would say that for an opening season Tiny Princess played great, also racking up 162 blocks and a +/- of 28. Along with this, Tiny Princess also had an impressive 3 goals, and 11 assists (for 14 points, 3rd among defenseman) in the playoffs, and a playoff leading +/- of 25. I would like Tiny Princess to improve upon his hitting, and his passing to get his assist ups, as he will need to play more offensively as he will be moving up to the first line. A highlight I would say was an incredible playoff game against the Maine Timber where Tiny Princess had 1 goals, and 2 assists in a 5 - 2 win.

Rocky Gislason just finished his rookie season. Gislason had a relatively good regular season. His statiscal point production considering the average time on ice was exceptional. He led Colorado in rookie points playing mostly on line 3. Gislason helped Colorado to finish the season with a 6th best record in the league and 3rd in the conference. But when the playoffs started, Rocky took his game to another level. Rocky led Colorado in playoff goals which helped the sweep Detroit in Round 1, takedown a Four Star Cup favorite, Maine, in 7 games, take down another Cinderella story in Carolina to reach the finals. Colorado ultimately fell to Quebec City. But Rocky has flashed his superstar potential on the biggest stage. Rocky biggest weakness is his defensive game. And he vows to make big improvements this upcoming offseason. He wants to still be an offensive powerhouse but will hold his own on defense. Rocky will be expected to make a Part 2 next season.

I would say that Greyson Willis has had a phenomenal rookie season in the SMJHL. Putting up a stat line of 26-29-65 on a star studded Carolina roster, I think that Willis made a solid contribution to the team's overall success. That being said, I did not really have high expectations for my rookie season, so I was absolutely blown away by the performance I saw out there on the ice. Willis is clearly a more offensive minded player, and I would like for him to continue to refine his offensive abilities over the course of the next couple seasons. Above all else, I had a lot of fun this season interacting with all the members of the league. The most exciting part of my rookie season wasn't getting out on the ice and scoring lots of goals (although that was fun too), but instead being able to meet so many new people and make so many new friends! (and enemies... Tiny Princess is still a bum @DarthDaevin)
