Being a goalie it's easy to come up with play that should have been a goalie, but for some reasons something happen and it's not.

We face San Francisco 3 times until the end of the season so I'm sure I will have a big save that will make the highlights with the offense they have.
Will surely be something like : a great passing play when they find one of their player in front of the net and by some reflexes I'm able to make the first save but I give him the puck back and I just throw myself on the side and block it with some luck.

Every goalie have made some incredible saves, but nothing to make a movie on haha! But it's sure that doing it against one of the top teams and the top players. But you also have to think that every player in this league can score so you need to stay focus even after making an incredible save.

Will Tomlander did something that no one else has ever done in the history of the Seattle Argonauts, and he will be remembered for it. However he will not be remembered in a good way because what he did was pass the puck back to his own net during a delayed penalty, while the goalkeeeper was not in the net. This resulted in a goal for the opposing team, and this was the first occurrence of this during the history of the Seattle Argonauts as a franchise. So this is what is meant by a historic moment, but not a good one. Thankfully they did score on the powerplay so the net result was a zero, which is better than a negative result.

Nevertheless his team mates will not let him live it down, and his nickname for the foreseeable future will be "Own Goal." There have already been stickers and pucks placed in his stall during practice, and Will is sure that some fan is going to ask in the future "Hey aren't you that guy that scored on his own goal...?"

Alright so this hockey movie needs to reel in the big bucks so as a result we need lead film director Michael Bay in charge and we'll have a good ol' underdog story but with high stakes so the humans are facing evil alien death robots who want to take over the world and the only way to stop them is by winning the hockey game. The humans strap the best technologies on to themselves resulting in literally explosive hits, the type you expect to see in a typical Michael Bay movie. As well as pucks that are literally rockets. As the hockey advisor, Ville Sato-Maki guides them to just be as aggressive as possible and in his short cameo on screen that is exactly what he says "go out there, and take down some robots." As cheesy as the line was, Sato-Maki was having a good time and didn't really mind the movie not being as realistic as others.

Task #2

It's all over social media. Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, X. You name it, I've found it there. It's simply being called "The Goal". Who would've thought that a big, bulky stay at home defenseman had the stickhandling, balance, eye coordination and speed to pull off such a goal, Almost reminisce of Zdeno Chara's spin o rama goal from many years ago. But Dash Jackson's goal goes above and beyond that goal. Not only did he defy the laws of physics, but time itself! Some how slowing down time like some bullet mode. something straight out of the Matrix. It is the only way some one can pull off such an incredible feat. So if you have not seen it yet, i suggest you get on your Phones, PC's, Laptops, Tablets and go find "The Goal" you will not be disappointed. It will be an all timer for years and years to come an unforgettable moment for anyone that was lucky enough to see it in real time.

Turns out the movie is as much about hockey as the movie Pearl Harbor was as much about that. There's one hockey game (barely) in the beginning and then the rest of the movie is a love story between two hockey players and there's like zero hockey but the dialogue is filled with innuendos using hockey terms and the only other scene at the rink is of course the climactic romantic scene at the end where the deeds are happening on the ice. Isn't that cold??? Is that even like physically possible??? Any Kiwi is barely paid cause her role is to come up with inappropriate hockey jokes and then she gets to be the Zamboni driver for like on shot in the opening game sequence. I mean it was pretty lame cause she didn't even get to drive a zamboni, it was CGI'd in. The movie bombed. No surprise there. People we're expecting hockey and got a romance.

Langston would love to help out on a hockey comedy geared towards a younger audience where everyone is having a pretty good time and I think he would like being there a lot simply because he knows how important movies like those are for spreading the game. Maybe a movie about peewee or high school hockey. The most important thing that Langston would want them to get right is a simple thing and that’s how to skate like a hockey player. This is the best way to have a believable movie when it comes to on ice on screen program.

Langston would like to have a cameo as the guy who is in the penalty box with the player. You know, the guy who is usually in a suit, opens the door and has some sort of notes he takes. Seems like that would be a hilarious moment, especially considering how often Langston is in the box as a player in the SHL.

Written Option 2: During one of the last games of the season your player manages to pull of a performance that will be remembered for years to come, the replay that will be making it to all highlight reels for the season, something that might be too unbelievable for a movie. Maybe it is most incredible sequence of saves that have ever been recorded? Most incredible goal? Winning 3 on 1 fight? Goalie goal on another goalie? Is it display of extreme luck, skill or good mix of both? Describe the what happens on ice and what leads to it. How was your player feeling afterwards? Do the opponents involved make it even more special?

Kim Chaewon so far has a had a pretty remarkable career playing for the Carolina Kraken. She is relied heavily on Carolina taking lots of faceoffs and centering the top line and top powerplay unit on Carolina too. For S81, she made an unbelievable end to end transition showcasing her skating, playmaking, hockey IQ and skill all at once igniting the Kraken to victory. This started from behind the net as Carolina's d-man Chuck Stewart left the puck for a speedy Kim Chaewon to take the puck from them to breakout from the defensive zone. Chaewon accelerated quickly and dangled around one opposing forward player and then did a spin-o-rama to get around another. She would then finesse her way through both the opposing team's defencemen and pull off "Forsberg" deke on the goalie. This amazing individual effort put the stamp on an amazing regular season for Kim Chaewon and she will hopefully carry this play to help the Kraken make a deep playoff run.

1: Jefferson wouldn't be thrilled to have a hands-on role in the crafting of a major motion picture, no matter how minor the role -- in fact the thought of appearing in a cameo makes his skin crawl, he's just no good in front of the camera, at least not when he's expected to play pretend. Nonetheless, he knows it's a good move for his career and will be a nice easter egg for all 3 of his fans in Seattle, so he sucks it up and does his best. The movie is your pretty standard rags to riches, poor kid becomes a prodigy story, but they're dedicated to getting to hockey to look realistic, so Jeff gets to give some pointers on some of the finer points of the game, like how best to shove a dude into the boards w/o drawing a penalty and which celly makes you look excited but also cool, like you've been there so many times before, scoring is just a daily affair for you. As for his cameo? Well, they got Jeff to play the owner of the local ice rink and the early reports are he couldn't stop looking at the camera and didn't really seem to know what to do with his hands.
