Agreed completely. It is a cool to see, but not much work at all.

No way this should count as 1k words. You wrote like two paragraphs. Practically all of your words came from just listing their names their TPE counts.

Took awhile to find each player, list em, order em etc. They legit took quite sometime each but thats fine. I just wont try writing no more. Whats the sifference between this and chris's "Top 100 people ranking"? Nothing except I actually had to look and find etc.

Yeah just because he listed them and such doesn't mean it didn't take time. If you don't reward him that's pretty shady seeing as its a good article and everyone likes looking at these things.

Looking them up takes time, sure, but this article in particular is just the previous ones listed again. Excel spreadsheet with the already researched players and this takes literally 5 mins.

I'm not saying it doesn't take time, but I think we should pay him for that effort, not for the word count. Calling this 1k words is a travesty to actual articles that are 1k words and serves as a massive loophole to hitting 1k words.

Guys, whether it was your intention or not, you can't run down a guy and immediately scream this deserve no money and there was hardly any work done. That just demotivates a member to do anything extra in this league. Imagine if this was a newer member and they see those comments?

Come on, everyone loves these types of articles, there's no need to pick it apart for what it isn't. We know the word count isn't there, just enjoy the article and the fact that somebody did it.

I do appreciate it, but the 1300 words is a slap in my face considering how much time and effort I put into my career recap article. It would demotivate others who write actual articles if they see that they can do this and get paid more. That's my point, and I think Spangle's as well.

Exactly! Not to mention those comments are the first coming from some people instead of commenting on the quality of the article and what information it shows. If you want a recruitment drive you have to stop with the asinine comments towards people who actually are active.

If he does this and gets points for it, just do it as well. No one is stopping you. If the rules are in place and a guy gets credited under them, he is not an idiot, he is a genius. Go be a genius.
