Sunday Funday: Future
#16

“Five seasons from now I’d like to think I’ll be out of the J. With some help from my other early S40s teammates, I hope to make the Manhattan Rage a HUGE name around the league and a top contender again.”

In 5 years Esa Anrikkanen will be retired, spending his days eating chicken parms and remembering all the great cup runs and seasons with his Calgary Dragons while watching his grandson play in the SHL.

Boris will probably be in hamilton steelhawks playing shl, but future will show what happends.

Phelps should be starting to regress in 5 years but he's going to still be a huge impact player. Hopefully with a few cups by then.

Iam Essellemm is likely to be a winger for the Texas renegades in five seasons. He'll be there for a long while as it's truly his home team
#21

Crawfling will probably fade out of the SHL, spend his few paychecks on fruit loops, then get kidnapped and sold into the male escort trade due to his dashing good looks

In five seasons I expect Buck Maverick will probably end up playing defense in the pros, but likely not on the top lines. He should have a good amount of experience and training under his belt, just not as much as the top guys.
#23

It is very possible Lundberg is still playing 5 seasons from now. If that is the case, I hope he is closing in on 3rd all-time in hits. If not, he'll be probably move back to Sweden to train the next generation of hockey players, while struggling with an addiction to painkillers.

It's tough to say where Zach Evans will be in five years. He has aspirations of still playing in the SHL at that time, but he is having to work harder than ever to maintain his ability against the wrath of regression. Experts have already noted Evans' less physical presence in hopes of extending his career.

In five seasons Dick Skillstedt will still be the laughing stock of the SHL and he will probably be traded from the Minnesota Chiefs so that they can finally get something done.

If this season is any kind of indication, Duce will likely be continuing his tour of the SHL and will have played for all teams before retiring and driving around the country in a van to continue his nomadic lifestyle.

If Soren Kiekegaard can make it to the Blizzard Roster, he will be a star for the team come five seasons from now.
#28

After doubling his points total from his rookie season, I'm hoping in 5 seasons that Lokitonov will be one the SHL's premier players. Coming off a 43 point sophomore campaign I'm hoping that Loki can consistently hit that 40 point mark for years to come.

Five seasons from now, I'll be five seasons into regression as the next season I will entering into regression for the first time on this site. And maybe in those next 5 seasons maybe CFJ and Sasha Banks think of starting a family.

In five seasons from now, I will likely be retired. I'm old and dying, and almost have all the records I want. After that it's time to ride off into the sunset.
