You fielded a pretty active team in the early seasons and as you pointed out activity is an issue/focal point heading into the off season. Do you have a new strategy to attract more active players through free agency, trades, and the draft? What will you do to in order to make Toronto a very desirable place to play again? 4 top 20 picks is a start, but other than that what is the plan?

all you can do is build that culture one piece at a time, there's no real secret to it or anything. The more active players you have on the roster, the more other players want to join your team because they believe they'll enjoy playing there more.

That all starts in the draft as you've mentioned, I think it's a very deep draft and there will be actives well into the third round, which gives us a chance to get a handful of actives right there. On top of that, we have four picks in the top-20 again next season, so that's eight top-20 picks in two seasons. That goes a long way.

The biggest thing will be hitting on those picks. If we draft well, we'll be fine. If we stink on draft day we have no chance.

What I was going to ask.

Is it true Krever and Dar had a moment in the lineup?

can't talk draft picks with you guys, but I will say this, this is probably the deepest draft I've seen yet.. I see guys that will go late second round that probably could've gone first round most years. Certainly there will be guys that fall that probably deserve to go higher but they can't let it discourage them, they just have to compete and prove those that passed over them wrong.
