Right now in tidal history I believe their biggest rival are themselves. The reasoning behind my opinion on this is due to the history the team currently has with their success. With that being said they are definitely on the up and up, however it goes to show that while there were struggles with other opponents geographically and statistically, at the end of the day the struggle comes down to being a fresh team as well as some questionable growth from former draft picks. The Tidal seem to be making much better strides right now and will eventually have a real on ice rivalry that aren’t them, teams have been biting at the bit due to the easy success they’ve had over the team, especially the Nevada Battleborn who suffered somewhat of the same fate as the Tidal when they were once a fresh team. The future is bright but work has to be continued.

I don't know if Vancouver has well-established rivals, but let's say it's Kelowna. First of all, they are clearly jealous of our superior roller coaster home park advantage despite trying to steal our thunder as the British Columbia team, to which I say skill issue. Secondly, despite being worse at being worst than we were last year by a nine game margin, they still managed to snag the first overall pick. How is that fair? And now they have the audacity to be better at being better than we are this season. Third, what even is that branding? Kelowna is a made up city and there sure as hell have never been any knights within a thousand mile radius; trying to contend that against Vancouver and our Blahaj-powered magic is blasphemous. Thankfully, we are showing them up in the head-to-head this season, notching 6-5 and 5-2 wins while they only managed to snag a measly 3-2 victory.

The anchorage armadas biggest rival has and always be the Kelowna knights. Ever since anchorage was based in Prince George the rivalry has being going strong. As well as this they are both original simulation major junior hockey league teams and this old culture lends itself to more spicy rivalries. The last time the two teams came up against each other in ilthe four star cup finals it was a hotly contested affair with the anchorage armada eventually running out as winners in a seven game series. Since then both teams have had some success but never at the same time it seems. However I am sure that sometime in the near future we will get the opportunity to see them battle it out again in order to restablosh one of the great old rivalries on the smjhl.
