2.

Ace Lightning, the best free agent on the market, decided to sign in Baltimore in the offseason which sure raised some eyebrows. In an exclusive interview in his home, he was pressed by Katie Couric on a lot of hockey issues, including his controversial Turd Ferguson Award win.

“Are you proud of yourself for winning an award for taking the most penalties?”

But Ace was not interested in talking about himself or hockey at all, instead announcing that he had decided to run for mayor of Baltimore.

“I just finished watching the first season of the Wire and I am appalled! It’s time to clean up the streets!”

Obviously not knowing it wasn’t a documentary, Lightning faced the camera and started naming characters, telling them their days are numbered.

He’s also hoping to bring a season of Love Is Blind to Baltimore under his new platform.

“They’ve already had a season here,” Couric told him. “It wasn’t very entertaining.”

I think Mia and Edouard Lavoie just really start getting into a big fight, tell each other they never liked the other, and really make it a spectacle as Violet bursts off of the bench to "break it up" in as theatrical a manner as possible. They're all from the same draft and make up a key portion of the team's young forwards, which has been an important part of their dynamic since day one even if they're not all on the same line. Knowing this history -- especially as they get further into their careers and become more prominent as longstanding, good-natured members of the SHL, the more bizarre (and therefore more successful) this ploy becomes. Of course, naturally as the Lavoies' mutual ire comes to a head, everyone loses their cool (but who do you even punish since they're all on the same team?) and Violet starts getting mad with the other two. They never shove, they just crowd the referee and raise their voices. I mean, c'mon, it works in distracting parents (even if unintentional), why wouldn't it affect a referee?

Option 2: While doing a preseason interview in his home in Norway before getting back to America for the upcoming season, the first topic that was on the menu during this interview was Norway’s gold medal win at the last IIHF tournament. They talked about what it represented for Nor and what it meant to the people involved in Norwegian hockey. They also talked about the impact this win could have on the future of hockey in the country. They also talk about the difference between the current state of hockey in Norway and how it was when Nor was growing up and what push him toward this sport. They then talk about Nor hobbies and what he did during the offseason outside of training. Finally, they spoke about what are Nor personal objectives for the upcoming season, what he hopes his team accomplished and they wonder whether Norway would have another good chance at a gold medal during next season IIHF tournament.

Jennifer sits down with a reporter in Calgary, who also happens to be from South Korea, so they are able to share that bond. Jennifer does talk a lot about the upcoming season, namely the work that the Dragons have put into the offseason, the expectations of the organization, and her expectations for herself. She also touches on Czechia’s performance during the IIHF tournament. She touches on their poor performance this last season, and herself especially knowing that she can do better than she did. She then talks about balancing her hockey career with her idol career. Thankfully after Le Sserafim finished their promotions for Crazy, she was able to focus on the hockey season. Le Sserafim is planning a comeback in the near future, so she may be stretched a bit with time but she also knew that’s what she signed up for. Overall she tried to have it be a lighthearted look into her life, wanting the fans to see more of the real her.

dieter frühstück is glad to be able to give an interview to das bild, the biggest german sports newspaper, about his preparations for the future season. most of the interview was dedicated to anchorage's cup chances. "i want to go out with a ring. we've lost to quebec in the conference final two years in a row, and both years they won the cup. so why not us?" he was very impressed with the new rookie class. "this team has the same vibes as it did my rookie year, when we brought in a great new class of players and we overachieved. i think this class is exactly what we've needed, and management has done a great job in making sure our window isn't closed." he then closed with a sentence or two about his shl prospects. "minnesota isn't under any pressure to win, so i'll be in a chill environment where the focus is on development rather than winning. it's the perfect place for me."

Written Option 2: For Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava he gave an exclusive first interview with his new team the Chicago Syndicate just before the first game of the regular season with one of his mentors and Syndicate legend and hall of famer Mats Manrer. Through out Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava's interview he had a relaxed yet insightful tone as the interview took place in the living room of Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava's new house having a fireside chat with Marner. Because Marner is someone Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava is familiar with there was an easygoing back and forth banter that allows for both serious SHL hockey talk and more personal reflections. One of the best quotes from Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava's interview with mats Marner was when he was asked if his career has been a disappointment so far after being a top 10 SHL pick and he responded "At this point in my career, I have stopped worrying about proving people wrong. I just want to prove myself right."

Interview AT-AT, it's been a while since we last had some Argos hockey, what have you been up to?

After last season it was a good one but a tough loss in playoffs. Definitely needed some time to decompress, spent some time in the Rocky Mountains hiking and stuff, get back to nature. It was great but over too soon, I got the call to play for Norway in IIHF and that was a great experience especially because we won gold! It is a great feeling to have your whole country behind you and cheering for you - as a group we are all very proud to play for our nation and it is a thrill to see how we came together and played for each other and the flag, making our country proud.

Interview What are your expectations for the team this season?

Last season we showed that we are capable of being a winning team so we have to build on that. We have players who've been playing together for a few seasons now and building up that chemistry. On the surface we might seem like a young team but there's guys going into their 5th and 6th seasons now so it can't be an excuse for us any more. We're in a division with some really tough teams so we can't be taking games off or slacking, we need the whole team to play their best every game, every shift. We can be confident that we're a good team with good players and if we trust each other and stay focused I think we will have a good showing.

Interview What aspects of your own game do you want to improve? Did the coaches have you work on anything in particular?

I mean, there's a lot of areas to improve, there's nothing I would say I'm totally satisfied with where I am in my development. But for this season it was important to get stronger on my skating and a little crisper with my passes. I've never been much of an offensive player but I got a few goals last season and if I could contribute a little more there, while maintaining my defensive play, I'd be happy!

Written Option #2:

With this being Marineau's last season with the Colorado Raptors, he wanted to revisit his first three seasons in Colorado, where there have been some ups and some downs. When asked about his SMJHL journey and his takeaways, Marineau said the following: "These past three seasons have been an incredible rollercoaster ride that I will never forget. Not only has this made me a better hockey player, but it's also shaped me as a person off the ice. My first season was a big learning experience, where I was able to be quite productive on the third line but I got a chance to see how to be a true professional with many first-class veterans. My second season was my sophomore slump and I found it very hard to take that next step as a player, even though I got to gain experience making the finals. My third season is where I finally got to showcase my skills and grow as a player. I'm now going into my last season and as the only player from my draft class, I'm ready to help lead this team to hopefully a championship."

Written Option 1: It's been awhile since we've seen goon Alexa. She was a scoundrel in the Js, but now she's pretty squeaky clean... and it's time to change that. Need me to distract the refs, coach? Weird to send your first line winger to do it, but sure! I'm dropping the gloves and punching an opponent in the face. Now, I need to pick someone who will punch back, preferably. If I can get a fight going, then it'll be a much bigger distraction for sure. Even better if I can get multiple players in on it. Let's get a brawl going, five on five. No, six on six! Have to make sure to accidentally hit a goalie somehow so it really riles everyone up. If that doesn't give the video coach the time to find the replay, and head coach the time to decide whether or not to challenge, then they both deserve to be fired.

Option 1

I cannot believe that went in. There is no way that play was even onsides! Pane looks toward the bench and sees the coach giving him the old “Make Chaos” signal. Understanding what the coach wants and what Pane can do, Luca goes up to the refs and starts pushing buttons. It may seem stupid to argue with a ref, but anyone with eyes can see that was offsides. In fact, that is a line Pane actually used to the refs at that point. When a ref started skating to the New Orleans bench to talk with the coach to see if a challenge was to be made, Luca skated in front of him and repeated the line again. While this does seem to piss off the refs more and more, it should buy enough time for the coach to get an answer from the video replay team. Luca received his last warning, but it was worth it. The coach ended up challenging the goal successfully. Sometimes you have to be a pest, even towards the refs.
