Actually they did a good job on changing the rules but I'm still pissed I'm forced to retire for something really really silly. Lost a huge amount of respect for the league.

He meant if you retire in the offseason your player cannot be traded. Basically, we're trying to close up a loophole here. Players could retire in the offseason if they don't like a team and then that team could trade their rights and if it's during that 7 day window, said player could unretire.

With this rule, we've covered that loophole in case anyone tries to exploit it.

Look, I understand you made a mistake. Trust me, I was on your side for the most part, But the more you looked at it, the more reason there was to force you to retire Kovy. Guys could start personal attacking people and say "Well I didn't know that wasn't allowed here, I never saw the rule, therefore you can't suspend me!"

We have a set of rules for a reason. What's the point if we don't enforce them?

Yes. Your player CAN be traded after a season if you retire/unretire during the offseason, but not before.

WKP / LA didn't get compensation for Sarmo/idot last year. This isn't any different.

Teams don't get compensation for players retiring.
