You have to trust that the Media graders will realize this and award the money accordingly. That's why we hired people for this job. Just enjoy the article and let the graders do what's right. No need to point out the deficiencies in articles because they aren't a well written essay.

There's room in this league for both types of media. The informative ones like this and the expertly written stories that capture the essence of a player or a situation.

I really liked Bana's idea because everybody likes to see how they compare to everybody else. I know one of my motivations has been to catch up with guys in my draft class who are ahead of me in TPE! So this series has been cool for that reason.

And it does take time to go through the drafts, find where all the players are now, compile the info, and then rank them, it's not just cutting and pasting. Maybe word counts aren't the only weighting measure that could be used in grading such articles?

Come on, everyone loves these types of articles, there's no need to pick it apart for what it isn't. We know the word count isn't there, just enjoy the article and the fact that somebody did it.

These types of articles bring activity, entertainment and discussion to the League and most members really look forward to them. That alone is worthy of reward, not to mention the formatting and research effort.

It's not always about word count.

This tbh.. Look at all the comments/views. 5/6 have more than most of the articles.

That's my point...all I said was that this is not 1,000 words, so it should not be paid for 1,000 words. It should be paid based on different criteria.

This was an awesome article and took waaaaaaaay longer than just typing 1000 words IMO. He should get paid handsomely for how awesome all of these have been.
