Newb question here. Still in my first season of the SMJHL and it looks like I am up for the SHL draft this offseason. I have heard we are able to play a maximum 2 seasons in the SMJHL before moving up to the SHL. Do we have the option to stay down or are we forced to go up?

Whether you get called up to the SHL team which drafts you or sent down for another season in SMJHL is really between you and your GM, and what the team needs, and what is best for your enjoyment!

There's no maximum on # of seasons you can play in SMJHL, but if you play in SMJHL you can not raise your TPE over 350
