Here's the thing, if you start celebrating too many occasions along the way, you lose the significance of the ones that matter, so 80 is just another season. 75 is way more important, and 100 exceedingly so.

I don't think 80 is a big enough milestone. 75 being 3/4ths of the way there is more of an accomplishment. Just another stepping stone along the way. Guaranteed I'll be there to see it.

s75 is when I joined the league about a year ago. I think it's okay to celebrate s80 unlike what others have said, because it's about a year per 5 seasons. Thats a long time for a sim league, So yes. I do think its worth celebrating
I wouldn't honestly consider any specific season a big milestone, although I can see why 100 looks particularly appealing; to me, and like @
ibuprofenaddict said, putting it in terms of real time hits harder than "season 75".

While I can understand celebrating 80 seasons, 75 just fits better. Did we also celebrate 10, 20, 30, 40.... ect? If the answer is yes, then celebrate the 80, if no celebrate the quarters of the century.

Season 80 seems like just another step on the way to season 100. Think the 25 year increments are the ones to celebrate now at least until we get to season 1000 then maybe that celebration increment moves to 50 or 100

I think 80 is a good milestone and a great step towards the season #100. Which all the seasons is a unique season with different surprises all the way to this day.

I definitely think there should be some recognition but also 75 is inherently a bigger milestone than 100 plus then you get all cluttered with the milestones so it shouldn't be too big.
When answering the question do you think 80 is important milestone for the league or just a stepping stone on way to 100 I would say it is not a big deal and shouldn't be celebrated.

No, I would say 80 is probably more like 60 or 70. A round number, but not as special as 50 or 75. We don't need to celebrate it (you can, but I don't need to). It's insane to think how long this league has been around, but let's wait for 100.

80 seasons is impressive but I think that 100 is the much better milestone, especially since the 75th season was just celebrated. 90 can be pretty special too.

Honestly once you get past 25, increments of five become less important. Nobody celebrates season 35, but they'll celebrate seasons 30 and 40. The one real exception is 75 and its surrounding years because hey, 3/4 of the way to a century!
