How about Potvin Bossy and Trottier? Do the Islanders win any cups? Do we ever pick first overall?
Potvin: 1429 points in 1384 games, he actually was with the Isles in this sim, that doesn't happen often he was a 2 time MVP and played until 92.
Bossy: 1449 points in 1272 games with Toronto and San Jose. No cups
Trottier: 1049 points in 1026 games with Colorado/NJ, Vancouver, and Pittsburgh retired on top with a title in 90-91.
Unsure about the #1 thing, don't know how to check that.

Islanders win one cup in 1985.

He's played for Anaheim, and scored 1108 points through 1245 games, no cups so far.

As for Datsyuk: he last played for Arizona two seasons ago, he's a 2 time champ, once in Tampa, once in Arizona, he has 885 points through 1070 games, strangely, he's sat out 6 combined years so his number might be a bit skewed.

Alright dudes I'm going to bed because I have classes tomorrow, but if you have any more questions about the sim, leave them there and I'll answer them at some point tomorrow

No! The Canucks captured a title in 1986-87!

Penguins had a sick dynasty there.

“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”

I'm pleased by the lack of Panthers cup wins.

So guys, I did a re- simulation of the NHL from 1931-2016 to see what would change, the answer is... A lot, so my question is there anything you'd like to know?

NOTE: This was completely hands off, teams still moved regardless of success

For myself, The Bruins only won the Cup 3 times, last in 1941... So I like real life better.
