Is this why test simming is against the rules? (Honest question, that rule existed before I got here)

I think it probably has something to do with it. That rule was made after I went inactive, but I wouldn't be surprised. The "frithjofr rule", as it was nicknamed at the time, is the rule that puts limits on the number of certain roles a team can use in their lineups.

Gotcha gotcha.
Next all star game is gonna be all Agitators and the goalies get the "hatchet man" ability. Every game 12-10 with a dozen penalties. For the fans.

current minnesota player here - i'm going to definitely rehash some of the points mentioned earlier but bear with me.
we backed waters 100%. minnesota had an incredibly rough off-season, with eddie stepping down and potentially being bullied off site and some trade stuff as well. yet waters handled it brilliantly, revived the discord (which had been pretty quiet for a little bit), restored positivity at a time when we desperately needed it, and as a result got backing from all of us. we were really excited to see where the team would go - it felt like we were building something special, and would finally return the monarchs to relevance for the first time in 5 years or however long it's been. that's why cord's hiring took us all by surprise. HO hiring a current member of HO over the team's interim GM, who had substantial backing from the team, is an awful look. i'm aware of cord's experience gming in other leagues, and why he was seen as the better applicant. but this did NOT have the reaction HO was hoping it would
have. the hiring, whether intentional or not, reeks of nepotism. team buy-in is going to be low, and none of it is cord's fault, which i feel awful about - he doesn't deserve to walk into a situation this shitty. but it feels like HO ruined the team's forward momentum. waters is gone, which sucks. multiple users who have been active in the lr and wanted waters as gm are going to request trades. it's not going to be easy for minnesota to recover from the fact that numerous influential members within the team are so disillusioned with this result that they want to play somewhere else.

I agree with what you say here bro I still support the team, and now that I have cooled off some steam I now fully understand why ho hired cord and I support the decision, will this change my decision: no, but now I see why Ho decided to go with cord and I have nothing against ho or cord, this just caught me by surprise and made me frustrated at the time.

but you hated me... who did nothing wrong and I have done nothing but respect Minny for the actions they took? I had nothing to do with my trade, eddie and waters hid it from me, I had nothing to do with this hiriing. I removed myself from ALL HO communications.
So explain to me why I get messages about how I did anything here to wrong Minny? I've been pro Min since the day I got drafted. Yes, you are in those messages I've seen. Tell me what I did to wrong you and How I as HO was included in any of this. I even backed Waters and have been nothing but respectful towards him. Do I regret my role in this, yes every day. Do I think HO made the wrong or right decision. That is not my place.

trust me, i'm well aware of the fact that you weren't involved in ho's hiring. we knew. but i'm also aware of the way you blew up at eddie and waters. like you said, you were aware that you handled it poorly, and apologized. i have no idea how i somehow said something along the lines of "this is corey's fault" in regards to waters not getting hired, but i do believe that the way you handled yourself with eddie and waters made you being traded inevitable, and that they weren't in the wrong to trade you without you being told until you were traded. hell, i've been traded before and not been told where until the offseason began. you're not the only person that's happened to.
