For those players who have received multiple bonuses, having just spent the past 10 minutes looking at their respective posts, I can assure you that they were more than deserving as their post count, as well as content for each post really engaged discussion.

As for me, who has received 4 TPE in bonus, I don't know what to tell you, I'm just better than you all.

I think this list shows enough variety to dispel any talk of bias. On top of that, most of the individuals on this list are members who have received notoriety from their positive rapport and quality of posts, rather than baseless TD every other week... just saying. The only correlation I see here is that the quality members usually have quality things to say within the PT and are rewarded as such, not by their username but what they write.

I swear Iâ€™ve gotten it more than 2 times in the past two seasons.

I agree, somewhat.

I think bonuses should be things you can actively try to get.

As it is, only a few limited people can get the bonus just by it's nature and I'm not even sure what qualifies as "leading the discussion".

Is it replies, is it activity in the thread? If so, how do you determine who lead the discussion, was it because they posted first?

All in all, it's not a bonus everyone can try to get like the funny/creative one from Sunday Funday.

Oh, they totally are, though!

So here's how I grade them. It's a bit of a weird system, but ultimately what I do is weigh post count with regards to how much people interacted with each other. The 5 bonus TPE go to the 5 people that I felt "led the discussion" by responding to and engaging with other members in the thread rather than just posting singular things irrespective of everyone else's contributions to the thread.

tl;dr people can try to get the bonus by replying to other people's contributions to the discussions in valuable ways (so not, just like, jokes on other people's comments but rather something that furthers or responds to other people's points and thus, ultimately, further the discussion), the five people who do that the most based on post count/breadth of contribution get the uncapped TPE Cheers

Discussion leader for the weekend funtimes is based on who actually engages in valuable discussion with other people on the topic most often.
