Well that should be a fun one. You gotta wonder at which point CC2 is hurting himself more with his arguing and calling out the awards committee, but at the same time you gotta admire a guy who passionately makes a case for himself and at least tries to use decent arguments. To be honest, I can't answer the question at hand before this seasons advanced stats are out but I'd say at this point, it doesn't look very likely as there are other people who are more phyiscal or have more points - or both.
This is the season in which Cameron Carter II FINALLY gets his Dar nomination
BS! It's been proven by BOOM himself that the SHL award committee is out against him, and unless he's bribed them then there's no chance he gets nominated for the DAR, it's always going to be Izzy winning it
Quote:No team is having a more disappointing season than the San Francisco Pride
For. It's not like we're that terrible, I myself blame it on the fact that I haven't had an easy time finding any rabbit feet around my place like the time the Outlaws won the Four Star Cup. Granted, the franchise might have a bit of a case of the curses but still, nothing that should be able to handle the Luck of the Irish or something.
Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency
Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR
No team is having a more disappointing season than the San Francisco
Personally I have to agree. Hopefully this is just an anomaly, and things aren't trending in the wrong direction. Hard to imagine a roster this talented being so unlucky, but so far this season it's been hard to stay optimistic. Still, the west is super tight and a hot streak can really swing things around suddenly. If we keep tinkering with the lines, then I'm sure we'll find some chemistry we've been missing.
GOD McZehrl's impressive performance this season means that notorious trade was actually... a win for both sides!?
Against - Regardless of McZ's performance on the ice, Minnesota doesn't have enough good pieces to surround him with to actual make themselves a contender. All they've done is destine themselves to mediocrity at best for the foreseeable future.

Currently sitting at a .936 SV%, Johannes Leitner will break the single-season SV% record of .932 set by Michael McFadden in S44
For. I Hate to admit it, but Johannes Leitner is going to completley destroy this record. They are doing very well, have a great D core in front of them, and continues to update and improve.

Ya no fucking way, he's playing like a monster right now, and there is absolutely no way this can be kept up. Watch him get lit up a few times in the last few games of the year and send that Save % skyrocketing downhill. probably finishes in the mid .920s
Wrap it up, let's just start the playoffs - the top two spots in the SMJHL standings belong to Detroit and Kelowna
Absolutely will happen and for. Detroit is the best team in the league because of Austin Roenick and will remain the best team. Kelowna will be the 2nd spot because Austin Roenick has a good relationship with Kelowna so yeah.

BS!: As of this post the San Francisco are 12-19-2 and are last in the the SHL standings, however there are still 17 games left to play (the have played 33 games as of this posting) and anything can happen in the world of hockey. The regular season needs to be played out until there is enough statistics to say if the San Francisco had the worse season for S49.

Against. I am confident Detroit will finish 1st or even top 2 with the lead they have but the rest of the league can easily catch either teams since we have roughly 20 games left. We are only just half way through the games and entering the business end of of the regular season.

Against, the anchorage armada are going to surprise a lot of folks this season and close out with all victories. They will be near the top, if not the top, and win the championship.
One of the Tampa Bay skaters - Gunnar Soderberg or Olivier Cloutier - will win the Jesster award for the league's top rookie
Agree, I have bias because Gunnar is a good friend to me, but also they are leading in rookie scoring, and while anything can happen over the remainder of the season, Ill be very surprised if they are userped

Disagree, while you guys are still giving @Gwdjohnson minutes you are doomed to fail for the remainder of the season and the short time you will have in the playoffs
No team is having a more disappointing season than the San Francisco Pride
FOR: Yeah with only a couple of players who are not underperforming it has been a sad showing so far this season for the Pride. But.... it is also BS and makes no sense SimonT whyyyyyy
The current standings will hold through the playoffs and we'll see a New England vs. Calgary matchup in the S49 Challenge Cup
Against - The New England Wolfpack are having a terrific season but I think the lack of playoff experience they have had the last few seasons will be a serious hurdle for them to overcome. To add on to that is the insane depth of the eastern conference. West Kendall is only trailing New England by three points with 17 games left.
