The fact that all the Americans went straight to the "DUURRR Its just women's hockey" yet a lot of them were watching the game. Hockey is still hockey.
Like how you Canadians in crew went "DUURRR It's just the WJC" when we won it 2 years ago?

Guess what? I still had as good of a time as I do going to Sens game or 67s games because it's still damn good hockey. Putting down women's hockey because it's women playing is one of the dumbest things I've heard.
I'm putting down women's hockey because they lost to Massachusetts HS teams.
Has nothing to do with their gender

Please explain how that makes a Canada/USA olympic women's hockey game bad?

Anyone in here would lose against a team that plays years round hockey. Have you saw images from the game? The majority of the "boys" were bigger, higher and stronger in the corner.
Women hockey don't play very often. Team USA played 30 games last year against mostly underpowered college woman teams until they tried with men. Team Canada played around 50 game in the same period. It's not even a full NHL schedule for a year worth of hockey. They aren't grossly paid, they have jobs, families to attend to etc. etc.
Women hockey could be as strong as the men if there was a shift in mentalities.

But what does that have to do with the game that was played today?

I mean why not put peewee hockey in the Olympics at this point
Put women up against 16,17 and 18 year old athletes in almost any sport and I can almost assure you that the results would be no different. Does that mean Women's sports should not be in the Olympics? Guy's are bigger, stronger and faster even HS guys are, that doesn't take away from the fact that these are the best women players in the world.
