So 1st prompt and god damn these mice for never giving up. Firstly how much TPE do you get for a basic activity check in this pan galaxy hockey league? Secondly, why would these fucks who could not even beat us in a friendly game now have the ability to stop us from running a simulated hockey league? This should work more like wrestling where 1 is the WWE and the other is the indies.
Well, if the entire hockey galaxy fate is resting on my shoulders we are kind of screwed cause honestly I never talk sim league jobs cause I do not need them, yet alone decide this. Plus I am highly bribable. Whoever gives me the schmoney will decide the fate. I will make my version very extreme though. Like the sports version of that 1 rick n morty episode with the "SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT" elimination/death if you lose. Best become a dynasty if you wanna make the hall of fame! [167 words]

Listen up. I've been told the first round is over, and my team annihilated. I'm not sure who it was against and frankly, I don't care. Anyone unfortunate enough to roll into (whatever city I'm in) and play against (whatever team I'm on) is going to have a bad time. I don't even know who is in the playoffs or where my team finished in the standings, I just know we're built to win. Or at least go to the third round, because in my three seasons up to this point we've won the cup and made it to the third round the next two seasons. So I'm feeling a deep-ish run. Evil AllBran is on my team, I think. He's good, he likes to score. There's a goalie too. Strong defending from the middling up and comer, Antonio Flusso (me), is going to help the depth on this team ultimately enabling the actual good players to do their thing. I'm excited for the team and I think we can go on to do good things. Otherwise, they can't take away my season 69 cup no matter how hard they try.

We're in the playoffs and haven't been eliminated yet so this works out perfectly. I doubt we're going to demolish anyone as the underdog, but we can certainly make some noise and win a series or two. In our first round matchup we had a date with the Buffalo Stampede. Much like us they seem to be at the end of a hopeful cup run. They had us beat in wins, goal differential and fewer goals against, but we've scored more goals than them which is the reason we were able to take them down. Our next opponent heading into the second round is the New England Wolfpack. They have had our numbers over the past couple of seasons but we're hopeful that we'll be able to finally take them down. So far they have raced out to a 2-0 lead in the series, but we've overcome a 0-3 deficit recently so we just need to stay laser focused.

Playoff time baby. Its time to demolish whoever makes it out of the first round alive. First things first, we're so good we didnt even have to play in the first round, the other team doesn't stand a chance. They're gonna be so tired after their first round bout they wont even know what hit them when the come up against the whalers. Even if they have good energy and dont feel fatigued they're gonna get demolished by our star presence and depth. Maybe we didnt have the leading goal scorer or point getter, but we were damn close. Forever, Adams, Liebold all are amazing forwards. With Blake and we had a baby its a boy on d they wont be able to score a single goal. WE have other players too and they matter lots. Whalers are going to win the cup easily this year, and whoever faces them will be remembered in the history books as one of the teams the whalers faced on this legendary run.

Written Task: If your team made the playoffs, write 150+ words explaining why and how you're about to demolish your opposition. If your team made the playoffs and is eliminated in the first round before you complete this task, write it as if playoffs had not yet began and your outcome were still possible. If your team did not make the playoffs, describe how your team got screwed out of a playoff spot: by scheduling, by the league, by the hockey gods/FHM, or by me personally - list not inclusive. Be as conspiratorial and paranoid as possible. If your team was actively tanking, or you'd just prefer this option, write about how your team got screwed out of the best lottery odds. After a hard season of up and down the Yukon Malamutes did not end up where they were expected to be. Nevertheless, we need to get ready for the play-offs. Our first opponent will be the Anchorage Armada. The only reasonable response to this opposition is going into the history books, and see how the great fleets of the past eventually got sunk. Looking at great fleets of the past and how they eventually lost, 1 thing the Chicken noticed was that most of these tactics could not be used on the ice rinks that ice hockey was played on. We didn’t have narrow areas, and bad weather like the Spanish armada, but then the ultimate tactic was found, cavalry like in the capture in Den Helder, where a fleet stopped by ice was captured by a cavalry force, now we just need some actual horses and this first play-off round will be the easiest in the history of the Malamutes. In the end there were no horses, and the Malamutes scraped by with a 4-3 win. 177 words

Written prompt # two:.. one for all
I think it’s pretty fair to say that the St. Louis scarecrows are the over dogs of the underdogs of the season. They have a lot of great things going for him, and the fact that wolf is not leaving them for points like he was last season only goes to show how deep this team is. A lot of players are really stepped up for the team and they required a lot of players that I’ve really gotten big. Sure, they didn’t finish in first place but I don’t think that means that they’re not gonna win these playoffs. They got a Lotta good chemistry going in a lot of magical shit is happening in that locker room that people don’t know about. I think it’s a camera crew in there. A lot of people would be astonished and even some old ladies on Global News might be a little spooked and freaked out. At the end of the day, St. Louis just has something magical about them. Were they blessed by a wizard? I’m not really sure. Do they drink a mega pint of tigers blood with Charlie Sheen? I actually know for a fact they did do that, because I am wolfs agent and I was there and it was fucking awesome and crazy. Anyway, let’s go scarecrows.

Player Prompt:
Buffalo started off a little slow this season but by the mid point had picked it up and secured their playoff spot by the end. Buffalo fans are still riding the high from the victory in S71 so expectations are high but manageable. They are facing a tough opponent in the first round but they have a solid lineup and high motivation. With two players eclipsing over 100 points this season, their top line can hang with any other top line in the league. They have a beautiful mix of young talent and veteran experience. Especially playoff experience. They know what it takes to win in the playoffs and have proved it. Will this playoffs be a walk in the park? No way, but they have what it takes to succeed and all they need to do is start off hot. I guess we'll see how it all pans out. Go Buffalo!

Player task:
Seattle Argonauts played against Edmonton Blizzard on the first round of the playoffs of the season 72 of the Simulation Hockey League. We all know how the series ended but there were for sure certain aspects before the series for which Seattle tried to strike and use in its advantage. First one was goaltending. Argonauts had better goalie. They had two-time Challenge Cup Winner Willie Miller in the net. We all knew what kind of playoffs runs he had had earlier and trusted again this season that he would carry us to the success. Our other strength was top line of Fiorentini, Podzalcone and Salming. They carried the team offensively in the regular season. Those guys have altogether five Challenge Cups. In the end they played well and were left in the plusside in the plus-minusstat. Of course Seattle also had couple of quality defenders in Ramsbottom and Fischermann who helped Miller in the defence. Edmonton maybe had better collective but Seattle had advantage in experience. You check from the scoreboard how the series went in the end.

Facing the threat to Earth's hockey and the integrity of the sport, I gather my passionate alien team and devise a daring plan. We recognize the importance of preserving the purity of the game we love. First, we decide to compete in the PGHL but under specific conditions. Our goal is to win the PGHL Cup to secure Earth's freedom from the oppressive fees and advertisements. We use our unique playing style, honed through training with the aliens, to surprise opponents and gain fans across the galaxy. Simultaneously, we launch a campaign to rally support from fans, both on Earth and throughout the universe, who share our vision for preserving the sanctity of hockey. We utilize social media, interstellar broadcasts, and fan engagement to build a global movement demanding fair play and independence from the PGHL. In a dramatic showdown, our team reaches the PGHL Cup finals. As the championship game unfolds, we unveil a powerful message of unity, challenging Hairy Bettmouse's authority. This act, combined with a thrilling victory, not only secures Earth's hockey but reshapes the future of the PGHL, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship over corporate interests. Our triumph becomes a symbol of resistance against commercialization and preserves the game's integrity for generations to come. The power of the people prevails, and Earth's hockey remains untainted by excessive fees and unwanted advertisements, safeguarding the essence of the sport for future hu-mons and extraterrestrial fans alike.

Those cheeky mice have done it again. They've taken something beautiful and made it bleed. But we will not go quietly into that heavily-advertised night. My rag-tag team of aliens rallies around me to brainstorm some ideas on how we could beat this. As it happens, one of the aliens has an uncle who is a part of the committee in charge of patents. But we didn't want to just take back the rights, we wanted to hit them where it hurt. So instead, we decided that we would play in this league of theirs, giving them all of the money that they required. Meanwhile, we did our best to ask many higher-up officials where the idea from hockey came from, each conversation recorded, of course. As we slowly built our case, the PGHL became a multi-trillion credit empire, with that stinky mouse at it's center. Once we decided that we had enough evidence, we submitted our claim. With a man on the inside, the trial was speedy and one-sided. The mouse was forced to turn over everything he had made from the league over to us as well as an additional percentage for damages. And, of course, that rodent landed in prison. The universe was saved from advertisements.
