Written Task: A quality restaurant that makes food your player does not particularly care for (for example a Mexican restaurant which is by all accounts quite solid, but your player doesn't like Mexican food) is asking your player to do an ad spot for them. Do they agree? Why or why not? Describe the ad spot if you choose to do it!
Of course I agree, why does it matter that I do not like the food? As a professional I know the weight of my words and that success of a restaurant is only as good as its advertising. Since I run a now quite successful pub in Ireland, I would not go tell an establishment I will not do an ad for them just because I do not particularly care for Haitian Creyole cuisine. It might be that I have never had it prepared in a way that I would like it. So it behooves me to go out and try new experiences so my fans know that it is ok to be adventurous. You got to think of the kids out there or someone one day is going to write a piece on you that shames you to the entire world. I might be good at hockey now, but I want to look back and know that I did something. As for how I would make the ad? I will let my agent hash out those details. It will probably be something corny like, "This food slaps!" - Seamus O'Slapahan. ![]() Player Progression Director Posting Freak

Well it is quite clear that Mänty isn't a fighting type and he has only had one fight during his junior career which he lost. But that is true for about three quarters of the SMJHL players, the part of not being the fighting type, not everyone having one lost fight. Still Mänty's strength is on higher end when it comes to the players in SMJHL so there is at least an opportunity to compensate for his lack of skill with the raw power he should have compared to most other players on the ice. And if we are limited on our reactions to the situation and need to pick between instigating a fight (that Mänty could still likely lose to prove their point) or eating a chicked and posting that to their site, Mänty would definitely go for the later option as it just isn't his style to go raging around and hurting people, even his opponents, specially when instigating that fight would prove to the people who wrote the post that they got to his head and next time someone would be posting about how he couldn't even score an own goal. ![]() SMJHL GM Sundress Spouse ![]() ACP Access Senior Member
Adam Liebold will record the most savage chicken diss video the world has ever seen. He will fill a table will every type of chicken you can imagine, chicken wings, boneless and bone in, chicken tenders, chicken fingers, chicken nuggets, baked chicken, roasted chicken, chicken noodle soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken wings, chicken thighs, chicken breasts, canned chicken, chicken sausage, every chicken food you can imagine. he will then proceed to pan the camera over to a coop of chickens all forced to watch as he devours every morsel of chicken product on that table. Mean while the chicken dance will be playing in the background on repeat. This will demoralize the chicken, it will take away thier will to fight. He will then call on his friend Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem to wrap with him. This will be the most disrespectful and savage rap anyone has every seen. The chickens will never be able to show thier faces in public again.

Leonard Wood of the Colorado Raptors would gladly agree to doing an advertisement spot for a restaurant he likes and also doesn't like. It does not matter to him one bit. It's a long career and he needs to make money off of his temporary stardom while he can. Leonard would even go as far as pretending to like the food given to him. However, he would decline doing an advertisement for a restaurant if it does not align with his morals or beliefs. If a restaurant discriminates against race or by sexuality for instance, he'd refuse to do that ad spot. But if all it came down to was a disagreement in tastes in food, it would be no problem whatsoever. Just because he doesn't like a particular food doesn't mean it's not good and that someone else wouldn't enjoy it. So do not hesitate to book Leonard Wood for any ad spots you can think of. It doesn't hurt to ask and he would love to make some more money! ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak

Sunrise would naturally reject the idea of participating in an ad about something he's not familiar with. He considers himself rather well-off so he really wouldn't need to participate in something like it and as such, there's no reason to take part in such an endeavour. He would, however, wish them the best of luck on their quest to... satisfy the wishes of those keen on Mexican cuisine.
He would also refuse the opportunity to try their food out. He's not exactly keen on anything too spicy to begin with and he usually has things without much preparation or fanfare. The idea of trying Mexican food isn't bad per se but wouldn't fit with his usual standards and he would rather not create a senseless conflict over something so small like personal preference. Them's the breaks, I suppose? Hope they don't mind it. But hey, good on them for trying, at least. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Player Page - Update Page ![]() Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - ![]() ![]() ![]() Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR ![]() Registered S36 Challenge Cup Champion
Firstly, Mads after hearing such news would simply smile and reminisce about his past life as a paladin that always fought right until the end. Second, he would not indulge in the fight bait as instigating a fight would only cause his team to take a penalty and be hurt by it. so logically he would go to the nearest chicken joint, a very peaceful Popeyes, and order some chicken. From here he would have a teammate come and take a video of him punching the piece of chicken. McBride has never been one to back down from a fight and being as fighting the other team could hurt his he would simply then fight the chicken drumstick. It would be a duel of epic proportions. Upon his victory and I assure you he would win; he would then eat the drumstick and be disgusted because he hates most chicken places in general.

Officially, Jarrod Lakemore is 2-0 in his career in fights, so this seems like an odd take to him. On the other hand, it is a very low number of fights and the article suggests Lakemore has never actually fought anyone of similar size and physicality as him. Certainly it is true that he drops the gloves rather sparingly, but his record speaks for itself. Including juniors, he is indeed 4-0 in fights and ultimately does not feel the need to dignify this piece with a serious rebuttal. So instead, he treats his teammates to lunch at Duff's Famous Wings, one of the best wing spots in Buffalo. He decides to take on the best that chickens have to offer, ordering a plate of "Death Sauce" wings. Unfortunately his palate is no match for the ludicrous heat of these wings and his teammates happily take a picture of him red in the face, covered in sweat as he struggles to take on the spicy challenge. So in the end, it seems they are right. Jarrod Lakemore would lose a fight to a chicken. (186 words)

What can I say? Except...Know your role... And I know my role... I'm here to do one thing...and one thing only.... and that's score some GNARLY GOALS... And thats my job, maybe you know make a pretty looking pass here and there but for the most part goals are my job and I'm perfectly okay with that. But I can't be doing my job if I'm stuck in the sin bin because I thought it'd be okay to play tough guy out there and try to be something that I'm not because some pylon on the other team wants to take my head off because I'm better than his whole team. Being a fighter in this game I love which just so happens to be my job, is not for me, its not my role, I have teammates on my team who would be MORE than happy enough to fight you because you've got a problem with me, is that cowardly? Probably but I'll try to think about that after I've tucked a few against your dust goalie

Yes it is a true fact that N'Zola is more productive on the offensive end rather than to the defensive end but to call him a chickenshit who would lose a fight to one tops it all. An agreement was made with the sports director for an opening show where Georg would fight a rubber chicken on center ice right before the puck drop. They had a long negotiations would it be a live one or a rubber one, but due to animal cruelty accusations they happily agreed on the rubber chicken, which only boosts this act's meme-worthyness even further. So when the day came, he put on his war face, painted his cheekbones and fought the chicken gloriously - and to finish up the opening show, Georg yells into the mic "Folks, dont forget to tenderize your chicken before cooking. Sponsored by: (whichever radio station or a sports analyst called him out for not being able to fight a chicken even if his life depended on it" ![]() ![]() |
