My own player seems to be a prime candidate for a rare card. A rookie Kobo card just seems like something not a lot of people will get. Especially if the card has to fully spell out KnockedOut byOvechkin that will make it even more difficult. I'm sorry to the person who has to design my card.

This is a hard one, if the league ends up having real rookie cards and stuff like that then the most rare card in SHL history should be something like a Ron Mexico rookie from season 1, I'd love for the older generation cards to be more rare and valuable if that's the case. I'm hopeful Kari Barkov gets a card as the only two time winner of the RICHAN trophy.

I think the person it is gonna be has to be Billy Brooks. Billy is one of the most exciting up and coming prospects in the juniors right now and he ready to make a big splash in the minors. Watch out majors! Billy is coming for you!

I think cards of future stars playing on teams that they aren't on in the future will be major collectors items. Thinking along the lines of Bo Kane and Theo Morgan in Edmonton, Reid Sutherland in Winnipeg, Luke Thomason in San Francisco, Cleo Green and Johnny Shuffleboard in Minnesota. It's hard to project those future players that will move on in the future, and doing so might even be considerably illegal due to me suggesting young players move on from their teams.
My best bet for one of these future collector items might just be @Kyamprac, as Sarah Burke is already on her third team. If things go as history suggests, she will continue to be traded and getting cards at any of her stops around the soon to be 20 teams in the league would be a massive collectors boon. As a general idea, getting Brady McIntyre and Demaricus Smyth Atlanta cards will also be banging as their retirement is bound to be coming in the next 3-5 seasons, or even sooner just based off age. It all depends on how the roll-out of cards goes (i.e. if you can get players on their S58 teams in S59) as that will create rarity amongst early years, or will give collectors the opportunity to go back and collect rare cards. If the purchaseable packs are directly correlated to the current season, I find it hard to imagine the "young star's on surprising teams" will be considered huge.

I think the rarest card would belong to a player who will win the rookie of the year in his first season and then stop updating his players before disappearing into the shadows a couple of years later, only a few of his cards will be produced which would make them rare.

I hope one of my teammates has a legendary career that's worthy of a overly-high priced rookie card. Who knows? Maybe people will be lining up for a chance at pulling a Bob Duncan card. But...that probably won't happen, I'm kinda buns.

I think the closest thing to a rare pokemon card will be a holographic Kermit Murphy rookie card, on account of the fact that he is the current player that looks most like a pokemon outside of an aging Gabriel Johnson @Gwdjohnson

For me, it all depends how far back that the cards will go on who would be the most rare card. There have been a lot of great players in SHL history from the early seasons all the way up until now and a lot of deserving players. It is just too difficult to predict on who will be on that very rare card.

I think the equivalent would be @Steelhead77 Esa Anrikkanen Parmprince card before he became Parmking. Probably made in his junior year in Detroit! That would be some rare SHL card!

There is only one player i can think of worthy of such a card. the Legendary player himself Pasta the Turtle. I predict his rookie season in the SHL will have Edmonton taking the cup. Everyone is going to want this mint condition turtle card.

Robot Sunfish's card should be quite rare in a few seasons. Not only that he's about the only robotic player in this league so far, but he has serious potential of becoming a good player even on the big leagues. So if you stumble upon his card, treat it well!

I think that the Charizard of SHL cards will be a rookie edition Jay Sink @Memento Mori. He will be a fantastic player at all levels and his rookie card will easily be the most sought after of all time.
