S80 PT #4: Last Action Hero Due: Sunday, January 12th @ 11:59 PM PST

Knowing the way that movies get made these days I think Pinli is more than happy to just collect a cheque on this one. Chances are it's some visionless direct to streaming garbage anyway so what's the point. He'd sign some stuff for fans in the writers' room, maybe get a picture or two on set with the stars, but otherwise he's more or less just phoning it in and pocketing the cash. They'd be like "Oh Pinli how would someone stickhandle here?" and he'd be like "I dunno buddy looks good to me!" For his cameo shot he might even hold his stick left handed or something as a little treat for the astute viewer that watches the SHL, because they'd know he's one of God's chosen players (right handers). At the end of the day this might get Pinli blacklisted from script consulting ever again but that's not really where his passion lies. I don't think Pinli wants to get into Hollywood after retirement so he's not to worried about that door getting closed. It's fun to get a big bag of cash and spend some time on set as a one off, but no need to go back.

Option 1:

Show business is weird. The thought of joining a hockey movie as an advisor seemed like an amazing idea to Logan Webb, no need for a script my dumb ass self thought, I know the game. I should have read the script it was a take on air bud or MVP most valuable primate, but this time it was about a hockey playing cat. Now I know what you are thinking, gold mine, right? Well it may be, but my introduction to the film world was much different than expected.

When I got there they had a dog on set, when I asked what is a Dog doing here, the response from the director, Dogs look like cats on film.

Odd, but what do I know. Apparently the "cat" would become the star goalie and help lead his team to a championship with its...cat like reflexes.

I got to be an opposing coach that loses his mind when our players, a group of young teens can't score on a cat. I jump the boards with a stick and try to score on the cat and he makes a save against me and fights me and I lose. After I lose the cat then licks it's but and goes to sleep on the goal crease as I get ushered off the ice and out the arena screaming.

I am sure it will make a great family film but they took nothing I had to offer about hockey, rules were ignored, I essentially was used to teach the actors how to skate shoot and pass.

Brayden Point is going to Hollywood to become a movie hockey star hybrid legend! The movie would be a love story where the skater falls on the ice and is rescued by a female skater and the rest is history. Brayden Point is a bit of a helpless romantic and while he can get all the women he has his eye set on the one who saved his life. Her name is Reyna fitting the name of queen to sit with the King Brayden Point. Regarding the cameo they are normally to my understanding silent clips. Brayden Point would do his signature wind up and fire on the net to score the final goal and win the game in the movie. The movie would also have a focus on mental health and include a dog because all good movies have an animal companion. Brayden Point is grateful for the opportunity and is looking forward to coming back to make more movies in the future. Perfect timing is right after he wins the cup to go into the off season!

This sounds like the perfect opportunity for hockey in space. I would have to assume Viktor got tricked into being part of this whole thing, because he doesn't really care about money, and he straight up despises the thought of everyone staring straight into his pores at a movie theatre. Perhaps he got lost and wandered onto the set, where he quickly became too shy to speak up and say "I'm not supposed to be here!". Regardless, the idea of watching a poor attempt at hockey in space from the front seat would be too hard to pass up. Viktor would cameo as the referee who drops the first puck at the big, final game of the movie. Tone-wise, it would be one of those films that takes itself so seriously that it flops on release, but becomes your classic "so bad that it's good" cult films years later. As for the very, very loose adherence to hockey rules: no one's going to care. Viktor might have under normal circumstances, but when the setting in space? He just wants to see it happen.

Agent Tesla: Well that was a surprisingly enjoyable side project.

Dave Heinrich: It was for you sure.

Agent Tesla: Well I am happy I got to meet Robo-Statham as I enjoyed his performances way back in the day when he was just regular Statham. It is nice to see his still making the same style of movie even all these years later.

Dave Heinrich: Are you telling me he has been making this same style of movie for decades at this point?

Agent Tesla: Yeah. They're good movies Dave.

Dave Heinrich: They had to ask me how many players are on a hockey team.

Agent Tesla: I also have to ask you that at times it is fine. Plus they knew to hire you to have to ask those questions so what is the problem?

Dave Heinrich: The problem is that they barely listened to any of my suggestions. This movie is going to be the least accurate hockey movie of all time and I am going to win a Razzie for my contribution as advisor!

Agent Tesla: Well you love to win awards don't you so again what is the problem?

Dave Heinrich: How about the fact my cameo has me get my head cut off by a flying skate thrown by Robo-Statham?

Agent Tesla: If you wanted to have a more elaborate death scene all you had to do was ask I would have been happy to oblige!

Dave Heinrich: Never mind I retract all my complaints.

When it comes to movies where the producers are only there to make money, normally there isn't much thought given to the actual plot of the story and it's just a simple idea to get it out in theatres. That gives me the impression that they would go the more "Hallmark" route and make it about some poor kid who is good at hockey but can't afford to play it because of the cost.

As a cameo I could be the person who notices the skills of this kid and decides to train him and cover the costs of him playing hockey. He ends up becoming one of the better players in hockey and wins a ton of trophies. I wouldn't have a problem with the cameo, it would be super fun to be in a movie and get some acting experience. It's not something I expect to pursue but as a kid I think everyone dreams of being in a movie of some kind, especially if it was hockey related.

One night at the bar AT-AT was introduced to a couple sleazy-looking characters who introduced themselves as Hollywood movie producers. They mentioned they were in town to film a movie about an evil hockey team trying to take over the world. When AT-AT mentioned that he was himself a hockey player everyone was very excited and the producers confessed they didn't really know how hockey worked. So they offered AT-AT a role in the movie in exchange for making sure the hockey aspect of the movie was true to life. Sounded like a good deal, but AT-AT had one condition - he wanted to be a henchman to the evil genius who would die a spectacular death in the final battle. He got his wish as the magic of Hollywood made his character get skewered by the laser stick of the hero. AT-AT never imagined he would be a movie star as well as a hockey player, but now he is! You can maybe catch it on Netflix!

The clock was ticking down, the score tied. The colorodo raptors couldn’t find the right pass past the pesky battle born defence line but they were able to fire a powerful shot from point. Arvinder Singh, a defenseman, blocked it with his chest. Surprisingly, the puck stayed near him. Fueled by adrenaline, Singh raced up the ice, with the battle born by his side weaving through defenders.I couldn’t find a clean pass with seconds ticking down . I fired a wrist shot that soared past the stunned goalie, erupting cheers from the crowd. Singh, the unlikely hero, had scored a dramatic game-winning goal, a moment that would forever be etched in the team's history.it was truly a great night of hockey. Coach was proud the effort that were being made on both end of the ice. The team was treated with a steak dinner truly one of the best days of my life.

Jack Ellul would try to be helpful on the movie set but would probably be in shock by the scale. He would try to give information to make things accurate but if they did not listen to him he would throw his hands up and just go along for the ride. It would be fun to be just be on set even if things were not entirely accurate. Hopefully the movie is fun and a little campy. Jack would rather be part of something fun rather than something trying to be too serious. Especially since Jack Ellul is still only in the SMJHL. As for the cameo being a scout or a player on an opposing team would be fun. Especially if it was a chance to be in there for only a moment and to do something memorable. Especially if the scene could be a part of a cult classic film or scene

The movie is called Green Valley State and is a classic collage movie (that later becomes a series) the tone in the movie is all about the party and good times the collage kids are having playing hockey. Scooring goals and partners.
And you get to follow the team on a spectacular season that ends with a crazy underdog meets the favorite kind of spectacle. of corse, the team the movie is all about wins and everyone cheers and goes on. and its a happily ever after.
But one thats not happily ever after is Abbe. After working pretty much two jobs, with his own career and this movie he is exausted. The movie didnt end up as he think it would and the director did not listen to Abbe as much as he probably should have. But apparently realism and following the rules are not a big thing in a fantsy hollywood production.

Hampus didn't do a lot of scoring this season and that's okay, as long as the squad is winning games he's happy. He even scored a little less this season than last but it is what it is. That being said he had a pretty impressive last game of the season. He didn't score at all because that's not really his thing but what he did get were hype points (obviously worth much more than regular points). He was able to get in three separate fights throughout the game and win all three. His knuckles are pretty sore after all of that but having a goon hat trick in the books is well worth it. He hyped up the team to get the win while having a little fun on the side, what is better than that. Hampus and his team hope to bring this same energy into the playoffs and come away with the cup (or at least a finals appearance).

I would definitely be ready to create a masterpiece in one of the last games, so for that I would have to choose the opposing team. Since I am a defenseman, my plan would definitely be to go with the puck from my goal to the opponent's goal, play everyone and score a goal. Since I would definitely be best remembered only if it happened against a strong team, then I could play it against a stronger opponent. This would not only make it more beautiful and allow me to include it in the moments of the season, but there would also be more interest in me as a player from other teams. So I did it in one of the last games, the opposing team was not ready for me to do such a maneuver and it seemed that they were a little confused. In the end, after this episode, I was overcome with great excitement and also a lot of fan messages reached me. My moment was included in the best moments of the day, and was also shown on television.
