So, I've re-signed with the Manhattan Rage for the next five seasons (six including my now ending contract). I've got a lot of faith in the Rage and our GM and Co-GM and I love our core in general. If anyone has any questions about the particulars of why or anything else regarding my tenure with the Rage, feel free to ask me here.

Officially, I think he's a great GM and I'm really pleased with the hiring of Merica as his CO. Any ambivalence I might have once had has dissipated with how Nike has been handing this off-season.. I also wanted to make a statement of commitment to the franchise and to show the public who have watched us flail about and miss the play-offs that I think it's one that will be a winner very soon. No namby pamby two season deal would have done that.

What is your favorite part of Manhattan?

It sounds trite but I very much like the colourful characters we have in the locker room. Some teams are so ho hum, so very prim and proper when out and about. You have to wonder if they are having any fun at all the way they wander about like hockey robots made flesh. Us though, we have lots of loud personalities, I might actually be one of the quiet ones.

The city isn't bad either, if a little cramped and crowded.

Did your leadership position effect this decision?

Not in the slightest, although it's very nice to wear the C and have everyone call me Captain.

Do you see Manhattan earning a cup over the course of this contract?

I do, although maybe not next season. We've got a few really nice prospects coming up next season who will help us right the ship immediately though. I think we make the play-offs next season and start contending the season after if everything goes right.
